Wow.  Can you say sexy?  Brooklyn Decker’s dreams have come true as she landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit edition.  She tells People:

“It’s shocking and a dream come true!”

She had posed with the magazine for 5 years before landing a cover and will also experience being on the talk show circuit for the first time:

“I’ve never been on one! I’m kind of freaking out,”  ”I’ve done news shows, but I’ve never done a big talk show.”

How did her family react:

“My mom cried.  We’re all on pins and needles before the issue comes out, because the cover is something all the girls want so badly,” “So it’s nice for my family because they don’t have to stress about it anymore.”

People asked the 22 year old model if her husband of one year tennis champ Andy Roddick was jealous at the thought of men drooling over her *ahem* assets:

“No. He’s so proud. I think this gives him a one-up in the locker room for the next year or so.”

No kidding.

Could it be we will be seeing Kiefer Sutherland on the big screen as Jack Bauer?  I usually don’t like to drool in public, but whatever.  It’s not like I’ll be seeing the people in the theatre any time soon.

Word is that talks are underway with Billy Ray (no, not Cyrus, the man behind State of Play) to write the screenplay and in fact he has even pitched his version of it.

But cool your jets because it hasn’t yet been decided if season 9 of 24 will be picked up.  The powers that be at Fox are waiting to see how the show does.  Episode 23 and 24 are not yet written so whether a series finale will be penned in is not known at this time.  The show is down in ratings from last year by 10%.

Kiefer had told EW in January that he would love to do a 24 movie:

”I actually tried to convince a few people of this. In a media world that is changing unbelievably fast, a television series can either act as a great trailer for a film, or a film can act as a great trailer for a television series. And I think the first person who actually does that is going to change the way television interacts with feature films.

“I think the resistance to it is because, in my father’s generation, if you did films, you didn’t even think about television,” “That was a death knell. And if you did television, you wouldn’t be allowed to do films. That was when we had three networks. We have six hundred now, and if I want to see Paul Newman in a movie, I don’t have to go out. And so the game has changed. And I think we’re going to have to adjust with it.”

Personally I would listen to Kiefer.  I would do anything he said.

Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, March 22, 2010 @ 8 p.m. est.  We’ve heard the rumours of Pamela Anderson joining the cast this year, but I haven’t heard much outside of that.  I hope it’s a good lineup this year.  Who would you like to see on it this season?

Bullock was on David Letterman where she is promoting her film The Blind Side that has earned her an Oscar nomination.

Unfortunately the video doesn’t begin when she first comes out but it’s funny nonetheless.  She talks about that infamous kiss with Meryl Streep.

I don’t think anyone could tire of looking at Matt Damon.  He looks so cute as he is seen outside the BBC studios in London England where he is filming ‘Hereafter‘ with Clint Eastwood.

Matt will be starring in Steven Soderbergh’s action/thriller Contagion with Jude Law and apparently Steven is in talks to have Marion Cotillard and Kate Winslet join the cast.  I loved Jude Law and Kate Winslet in The Holidays.  That would be a very fine cast, no?

The story revolves around the threat posed by a deadly disease, with multiple plotlines in the style of Soderbergh’s Traffic

The movie talks to various couples and singles regarding the pressure put upon people by expectations associated with this day and I don’t know about you, but even being married I really dislike this day.  Besides the fact that people should be loving to one another all year long it just seems a bit too commercial for me.

The film hits theatres February 12 and apparently a sequel is planned, but this time it will take place on New Years’ Eve.
