No Disney for Barenaked Ladies

In an effort to avoid embarrassment for all concerned, The Barenaked Ladies have opted out of performing at the Disney event which was to have taken place in New York in Long Island New York late next month.

The band, who are longtime friends, remains supportive of Steven Page. Page plans on appealing his conviction. The band released the following statement earlier this week regarding the arrest:

“Many of you have probably read or heard press accounts about Steven Page’s recent arrest in New York state. Steven has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and the validity of the charges against Steven will be strongly contested,” the band statement said.

The band hits the studio later this year to record an album.

Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty to play house

Man has he ever become a household name since hooking up with Sienna Miller. But I think she benefits the most seeing as his family is worth BILLIONS. That’s with a B.

Latest news is the two will move in together. This news of course comes right on the heels of those topless pictures of her with him and just weeks after her ending her relationship with Rhys Ifans.

His wife and 4 kids have already moved out of the house. I wonder if Getty has an ironclad prenup? Given his family is worth billions, you would think so.

Madonna wants a threesome!!

That’s right. She wants to reunite with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. What were you thinking? lol. She wants the lovefest to occur on her Sweet and Sticky tour.

I wonder if that would be awkward? Probably more so for Britney than Justin:

“They have both been asked but I think they are both a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and Justin might not be interested. More likely is that they will both appear at different dates. But if anyone can make it happen it’s Madonna.”

Britney is working on her album and has recorded a video that will be shown on Madonnas tour.

It would be amazing if the three of them would perform at the same time. Remember when Britney and Madonna kissed at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. The camera panned to Justin (this was shortly after they split up) and he didn’t seem amused. No doubt he has moved on from that.

The tour starts August 23 in Cardiff, Wales.

Hayden Panettiere and her sexy photo shoot

In connection with her new campaign for Candies (clothing and footwear), Hayden Panettiere does a sexy photo shoot.

The TV campaign will feature her new single Wake Up Call. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. The album of that single has taken 4 years to complete and reflects the changes she herself has gone through in those 4 years.

The sexy girlfriend of 31 year-old Milo Ventimiglia will appear in Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil which is scheduled for release January 15, 2010. Heroes is currently filming their third season.

Pretty impressive resume for an 18 year-old don’t you think?
