Who knew? It’s a reality based art-competition show titled American Artist. 

A panel of experts will judge aspiring artists as they compete to produce various styles of artwork including painting, and sculpting.   

Helping to  develop the project is Sarah Jessica Parker’s production company, Pretty Matches.

Bravo currently has the reality based series:  Top Chef and Top Design .

In addition to having just released Sex and the City, SJP will star in A Family Affair  (currently in production) in which she plays a real estate agent that has a one night stand with a distinguished older gentleman after becoming engaged to another man.  The distinguished older man?  Her future father in law.  Yikes.

She will also appear in The Ivy Chronicleswhich is in pre-production and scheduled to be released in 2010.  It is rumoured that she will play the lead in that one as well.
