Teri Hatcher singing with co-star James Denton’s band

Yesterday I posted a story about how she so impressed her co-star James Denton with her singing (on American Idol Gives Back) that he had her perform with his band.   The event was the 2nd Annual Band From TV Night held at Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Stadium on July 26, 2008 in Fullerton, California.

Here are some pictures from that event.  She looks to be loving singing.  They all look to be having a great time.  Do you recognize the guy in the second last picture?  That is Bob Guiney from The Bachelor!

Elizabeth Hurley gets down and dirty

We all imagine Elizabeth Hurley to be a “high maintenance” kind of girl with perfect hair, perfect makeup and dressed to the nines.

However, she gets down and dirty on the farm she shares with her husband Arun Nayar.  Even her husband thought she was joking around when he first saw her in her “farm wear”.  As Elizabeth says:

“Even my husband got a surprise the first time that he saw me in the country. He found me in some Wellingtons covered in mud, with holes in my jersey, and he thought that I was playing a joke on him. But we English are not as elegant as we seem.”

She is working on a reality show so that we can all see what she is like with the pigs and cows on her farm.

Will you watch it?

Sarah Larson taking a page from George Clooney’s book

It seems that George Clooney has ruined Sarah Larson for any other man, LOL.  I mean seriously, where do you go after GEORGE CLOONEY????  What man wants to be her rebound guy?

It seems Sarah is in denial she misses George focusing on work and not bothering with dating right now as “it’s working for me”.

She is spending her time in Los Angeles modelling and has other projects she is currently working on to keep her from being depressed as hell that she isn’t with George Clooney anymore busy.

According to Sarah “things are going well”.  Whatever.

Kristi Yamaguchi gives back

A childhood friend of Kristi Yamaguchi’s husband (Bret Hedican), died on March 2, 2008 of a brain tumor leaving behind a wife and two young children.  The friend, Patrick Brandt, was only 37 years old.

In an effort to help the family, Kristi and Bret are hosting a fundraiser on August 21, called The Patrick Brandt Live Life, Give Love Celebration.  It will be a benefit concert and silent auction at The Myth Nightclub in Maplewood, Minnesota.

Rob Thomas (I LOVE him) headlines the show.  The show will also feature performances by Dancing pros Mark Ballas and Derek Hough’s band, Almost Amy. Yamaguchi and Ballas, Dancing‘s season six champs, will also perform a dance or two.

People has posted a website if you want to know more about this event:  www.livelifegivelove.com

Below is a picture of Kristi, her husband Bret and their two girls.  I’ve also included the picture of the Brandt famil.  It is so nice to see people like Kristi and her husband Bret give back and make a difference.

Our thoughts and prayers to the Brandt family.
