Rosie Perez and others attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual luncheon held at The Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday. I can’t remember the last time we’ve seen her. She looks amazing. Love the dress!! Lots of other stars in attendance: Dana Delaney, John Hamm, Chris Messina, Ludacris, Rosario Dawson, Aaron Eckhart (purrrr), and Dakota Fanning (she is all grown up practically).

Hollywood acting legend, Elizabeth Taylor is in critical condition after suffering congestive heart failure (originally diagnosed in 2004). The 76-year-old was admitted to a medical centre 15 July after being diagnosed with pneumonia. Her condition has reportedly worsened since then.
On the Wednesay (it is unclear which date) she was place on a ventilation machine after suffering congestive heart failure. Thursday her condition improved and she was breathing unaided but is still very ill.
The star is no stranger to health problems. In addition to having congestive heart failure she has had two hip replacement surgeries, a benign brain tumour that was removed in 1997, and she also has diabetes and osteoporosis.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

According to UsMagazine, it was Shayne Lamas’ partying that killed it for Matt Grant. Lamas told US:
“I’m used to the Hollywood BS [her dad is actor Lorenzo Lamas], but it really got into Matt’s head,”
He certainly seemed a lot more mature than her. According to a source close to Grant:
“After he moved to L.A. and saw her constantly partying and clubbing, he realized that she wasn’t behaving like a woman who was ready to be in a serious relationship,”
That’s unfortunate, but I think the signs were there and he didn’t pay enough attention to them. Remember her melt down (I think they were in Vegas) about her having to share him? It was early on in the show, and I’m not sure what she expected going on that show. At that point it isn’t about exclusivity, is it? Perhaps she was showcasing her dramatic acting skills?
Matt will make some woman VERY happy.

Pamela Anderson was out and about yesterday in Central Park with her son Dylan. She was in New York for her appearance on David Letterman yesterday to promote her new reality show. She looks great, doesn’t she? LOVE that purse!!

Although the restraining order against Sam Lufti will not be renewed, Britney Spears has made it clear she wants nothing to do with Sam Lufti now or in the future!! Furthermore if he DOES contact her, she will take appropriate legal action.
Her father, whose conservatorship is likely to be renewed, has complete control over who she does and doesn’t associate with, but the better news is that Britney doesn’t want to see him.
Britney’s father stepped in when she was spiralling out of control and saved the day. At that time the rumors were rampant that Sam had been drugging Britney.
Regardless it looks like she is getting back to herself and is being surrounded by people who have her best interests at heart.
