Freddie Prinz Jr. joins WWE

Apparently Sarah Michelle Geller’s husband, Freddie Prinz Jr. will be joining the World Wrestling Engertainment team.   He’s a huge fan!!  Who knew?

Don’t worry, he will be working behind the scenes on the weekly television and pay-per-view programs, lol.  Did I have you going?  Did you have visions of him in Spandex?

Kevin Federline has nothing to complain about

No kidding.  Kevin Federline and his brother Chris Federline attended the Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Skins Classic at Trump National Golf Club Rancho in Palos Verdes, CA.  Also on hand: Verne Troyer, Frankie Delgado, Kendra Wilkinson, Brody Jenner and Carey Hart.

The secret to sharing 82 year-old Hugh Hefner

I posted this picture because I LOVE Kendra Wilkinson’s dress.  I’m deep, no?  Kendra spoke yesterday at the Ryan Sheckler’s Games Celebrity Golf Tournament in California (I will be doing a post from that tournament shortly) about her relationship with the other girls.  Recently there has been a lot of speculation of animosity between her and Hef’s main golddigger squeeze Holly Madison.  Kendra somewhat addressed those rumors

“We are three very different people — we’re doing very different things with our lives and we don’t step on each other’s toes,”  “If we all wanted the same thing it wouldn’t have worked, because that’s where all the drama would have started, but we’re like the Spice Girls — I’m the sporty one. We are on different roads and they don’t intersect. We don’t spend time together every day — girls just can’t do that.”

On escaping life at the mansion:

“I was only 18 when I first moved in and I’ve grown up so much. I really have a new light on my life,” Wilkinson said. “I’ve been thinking a lot about marriage and kids; I don’t care about going crazy and partying anymore. I’m focused on the real life things, my future. That’s who I am now.”

She might not be the brightest lightbulb in that trio, but she seems to be looking to make a life for herself and not sponging off of Hef forever, and I think she has an incredible body.

I don’t know why but I really enjoy watching Girls Next Door although I am mystified that girls as young as these three would be interested in an 82 year-old man besides his enormous wealth.  Sorry Hef (like he’s really reading this).  I get the impression that he’s a great guy, but HE’S 82 !!!!!

Do you watch the show?

Avril Lavigne launches children’s clothing line

The Canadian rocker has had three hit records, acted, has a successful marriage to Deryck Whibley and now she will be launching a children’s clothing line at Kohl’s called:  Abbey Dawn.

Here is the interview with OK! Magazine:

There are hordes of fans lined up around the building today to meet you and see your new clothing line. That has to feel nice.
It kind of feels like my birthday or something. It’s a whole new experience for me — to have a crowd of people and it not really having anything to do with my music.
I am the designer and the concept obviously came from me. As far as designing goes, I just sat down and told everyone what I love and what I don’t like, and basically the clothes are everything that I would wear.
It’s definitely important. The clothes that I wear are affordable. I don’t really wear that many high-end stuff, so pretty much everything is from $24-$48 so it’s really affordable for young people.
That was nickname from my dad when I was a little girl. It was my alias name when I first started my musical career. I used to think maybe I’ll have a girl and call her Abbey one day, but I had a clothing line first.
Speaking of which: Are you planning on having children someday?
Oh God! I don’t want to have kids for like 10 years. I still have a lot to do. I don’t even know if I could handle a dog right now. I’m so not ready. Someday I’ll be a mom but not until I’m in my 30s.

It was your second wedding anniversary on July 15. How did you and Deryck celebrate?
We went away for the night and went to our favorite restaurant and just had a very romantic day and evening. If I wasn’t on tour right now, I would like to have gone on vacation to Hawaii or something but I’m only home for the week.
We e-mail and talk on the phone. I’m always on my Blackberry. He comes out and visits. I was just in Europe and he came out for two weeks at the beginning of the tour and two weeks at the end of the tour.

How involved with the design were you?

Was it important for you to keep prices down on the items in your line?

Russell Brand makes MTV nervous

The actor and writer will host the 2008 MTV VMA show and has been warned by MTV to not use a couple of words:

“I’ve been warned when I’m presenting there are two things I am never allowed to say.  “One – c***. And two – Scientology.  “There is one sentence that could join both of those words but I’m going to try and not say it.

The awards show should be interesting to say the least:

“I have a problem when people tell me not to do something. When I was going to meet the Queen the protocol people told me how to bow, not to curtsy, not to speak until I was spoken to. But all I could think of was, ‘Grab her t*t’!”

His mother must be proud!!

Although virtually unknown in the U.S. he is well-known in the U.K. and to MTV:

He was sacked from the station after turning up for work on September 12, 2001, dressed as Osama bin Laden.

The show will air live on Sunday, September 7.   Will you be watching?

Mischa Barton on Marie Claire

Mischa Barton is on Marie Claire’s 20th Anniversary cover.  In an interview she is asked whether the scrutiny bothers her:

‘I’m not really sure what people’s preconceived notions are. I don’t look at the gossip websites – it’s unhealthy and I think it’s a large part of what drives people in LA crazy. I’m an actress, I’m in this to find the next great project. The fact is, I’m having a real life and being a normal human being.

On her DUI:

‘I didn’t know people cared.’ The case is still pending at the time of our interview (Barton has since been sentenced to three years unsupervised probation after pleading ‘no contest’ to drink-driving), so she is limited in how much she can say – but her regret appears genuine.

‘It was a low point in my life. The truth of the matter is, I was being irresponsible to begin with – I moved to LA and never got a licence,’ she explains. ‘I don’t know, it was just an awful low for me. I apologized – and you have to just hope that that’s enough. People make mistakes, you know?’

The full interview appears in the September 20th Anniversary U.K. issue on sale now.
