Madonna & Guy Ritchie’s english pub, The Punchbowl is under investigation for irregular pricing.  By law a price list needs to be displayed (which they do not display theirs) plus tourists and locals are charged different prices, apparently arbitrarily.  It is being claimed that if staff do not recognize you the price increases.  Sweet.

I doubt Madonna and Guy Ritchie put the word out for the staff to do this.  Perhaps someone has decided to do this on their own?  Kind of short-sighted given the laws and the publicity something like this will bring.  Um, hello….Madonna and Guy Ritchie own the pub?

If the pub is found to be doing this, it will lose it’s license.  They purchased it only 6 months ago.  The price? Approximately $5 Million.
