If you love dogs like I do, you will find this amazing.  Even if you aren’t a major animal lover, you’ve got to admit it’s pretty incredible.

As you know Madge turned 50 yesterday (but considers herself spiritually 36) and even her injured ankle didn’t stop her from celebrating the big one. Looks like Guy Richie is helping her in her thigh-high boots.

The write up accompanying the picture mentioned:  Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie left their Mayfair home at around 10pm and headed to the exclusive Volstead club for her celebration. Shortly after, Madonna and Guy’s children Lourdes and baby David arrived at the night club and were ushered through the back door. At around 11.30pm, the children left the club via the front door and returned home. As the presents were loaded into Madonna’s chauffeur-driven car, the couple left the club arm-in-arm, smiling, and possibly a little worse for wear. They returned home around 01.30am, spraying the waiting photographers with water from the car’s windscreen washers. Guy didn’t appear to be wearing his wedding ring

Selena Gomez is pictured at the UR Votes Count Event at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California where she signed autographs for fans and encouraged future voters to become politically active by voting once they turn eighteen. 

Is she not the cutest???  She is so pretty, but when she gets older she’s going to be gorgeous!!

By posting a picture of the happy couple, I would be infringing on copyright laws, but click here for it.  I’m including pictures of some guests arriving (btw I LOVE the white dress of the girl in this picture), etc.  Nothing exciting but I’m sure by tomorrow there will be more pics.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi wed last night in a small and intimate gathering at their home in the Hollywood Hills.  De Rossi, 35, wore a backless, light pink dress, and DeGeneres, 50, dressed in white pants, button-up shirt (pink striped) and white vest. According to an onlooker: 

“They were hugging and kissing, and looked ecstatic,” the onlooker adds. “Ellen was helping Portia with the train of her dress, which looked like a Cinderella tutu.”

Ten large Pizza’s were delivered to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi’s wedding, and even though there were less than 20 guests, a media stir was still caused with press waiting by the gates and flying above in helicoptors.

“If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody,” the singer challenged. “Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.  She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up,” he said. “You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”

“I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting,” the 30-year-old added. “But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”Mayer reflected on the situation as “the most normal thing in the world – There’s no lying, there’s no cheating. There’s no nothing.   People are different, they have different chemistry, they have different lives,” he said. “It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”

Mayer snapped at a reporter who asked if he’s dating anyone else.

“Why are you asking me that question? I’m being as honest as I can possibly can be,” he responded. “I ended a relationship because there is no lying. I ended a relationship to be alone because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. I don’t waste people’s time.  I don’t do ‘the taper,’” he continued. “I guarantee you [that] 20 percent of the people on this street right now who are in a relationship wish they could get out but they don’t know how. And I’m going to be honest on the way in to my relationships and I’m going to be honest on the way out of my relationships.”

“I just feel like spending a million dollars right now to put a mirror in every Us Weekly so that when you’re reading about it, you go, ‘Oh, that was me two years ago’ or ‘That was me a year ago,’” he said.  You’re either a cheater or you breakup,” he explained. “And I’m not the first. I’m the second one. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no b-llshit, I just don’t want to be followed around New York City like an animal.”

Kind of in stark contrast to what his brother said to the paps (see my earlier post of today), but (I’m hoping) he was only joking (the brother).  This speaks a lot about John Mayer’s maturity and how he treats a woman after a breakup.  Very classy and that is nice.
