It really makes you wonder doesn’t it? He can always get a calling card, or another cell phone, or there are a multitude of ways he can hide it. The other side to the coin is Carrie is bitter. That is the side people will most likely speculate about but I think she may be too savvy to say somethng like that knowing it will come back to bite her.
My opinion is that some girls see what they want to see while in a relationship. So, yes, like you said, using another phone, etc… he can easily hide this calling activity from Jessica and all the more so easier if she is willing to just laugh it off and not see any blaring signs in front of her about it.
Also, Jessica can look at Carrie’s statement as a favor to her, giving Jessica valuable information she needs to evaluate her relationship with this guy.
