The singer recently fathered twins to a surrogate mother, who it is now being reported is a cousin of his (um, that’s not healthy).

The cardinal of Honduras, Oscar Andres Rodriguez, considers Ricky Martin’s latest move to be going against human dignity:

“What Martin did diminishes the dignity of a human being. You can’t just buy or rent life. It’s even worse when someone famous and in the public eye is doing it.”

Weighing in on the argument is Mexican talk show host Esteban Arce:

“I don’t think it’s right to deny children of maternal figures, just because you have a big ego.”

Okay, if the cousin slant to this story is true, I think it’s maybe not necessarily the right thing to do.  However, and I don’t know Ricky Martin, but I don’t picture him doing this because he has an ego.

You know, this post and story is ripe with too many jokes, and I vowed when I started this site I would be nice and not be the sarcastic person I am very capable of being.  I am really biting my tongue here, but I have 3 zingers right off the top of my head.

I really need to start a sister site that isn’t so polite.

She is very satisfied with what she has (um, who wouldn’t be, hello?) and will never get plastic surgery unles it’s required for medical reasons:

“I once had the degree of my deviated septum operated on. Since then, I can breathe much better and sleep nights like a baby. The rest of my body is all mine. And absolutely natural. And it’s going to stay that way. I am very satisfied with what God gave me.”

How does she keep that killer body of hers in such amazing shape?  Yoga!!  Isn’t that what Madonna does too?  Does that mean no cardio? 

When she said the following, I immediately thought of Brad Pitt.  Then I thought of John Mayer:

“I do the best I can to keep myself fit, both in body and mind. I also draw a lot of strength and energy from yoga, new age and cosmic energies. I very much believe in karma – the way you treat your fellow man is how you will ultimately be treated yourself.”

Okay, I think it will be easier if I lump all the pregnancy and baby news into one post.  I think something must be in the water in L.A.

So here are the tid-bits:

• As I mentioned in a previous post, Alessandra Ambrosio just welcomed a baby girl:  Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur
• Charlie Sheen and his new bride are expecting a baby.  No word on when, but she found out for sure on Friday so maybe March or April timeframe? 
• Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz are pregnant.  Again, no word on when but she says it’s still early.
• Angie Harmon and her husband Jason Seahorn just confirmed their pregnancy although it was leaked prior.  This will be Baby number 3.
• Ashlee Simpson and Peter Wentz are due soon.  It will be their first.
• Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale just had their second boy Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.
• Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are pregnant with Baby number 2.

Have I missed anyone?

Hayden Panettiere tells Extra:

“It [the incident] was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his fifteen minutes of fame,” the “Heroes” starlet tells “Extra.” “My family is wonderful — so very happy. We’re all great.”

For a 19 year old to have to deal with this publicly can not be easy for her.  She must be left humiliated, and, really what other statement is she going to make?  I’m not trying to imply anything other than she wants it dealt with quickly, to the point and move on.
