The beautiful 26 year old Ivanka Trump graces the cover of Page Six this week.   In addition to being vice president of real estate development and acquisitions for her father’s empire, Donald Trump’s daughter, also has her own jewelery line.  The line, Ivanka Trump Collection commenced in September 2007 and is sold at her marquee store on, where else, Madison Avenue.

The reserve she carries herself with, is unlike that of her parents.  Of them, she says:

“My parents are exactly who you think,” Ivanka says with a smile. “They’re very straightforward. They are highly blunt. They say exactly what they’re thinking. In terms of their public image versus the reality at home, I don’t think there is that much of a divide.

Her parents’ 1992 divorce, and public scrutiny made her weary of being in the spotlight:

“It’s very rarely that I open Us Weekly and see myself in it. And that’s the way I like it,”

Although she admits that being on The Apprentice has changed that a bit:

“I used to have a veil of anonymity while I was walking around,”

She speaks about the fame associated with being a Trump.  Not in the celebrity sense, but in the business sense:

“I’m very proud to be a Trump. I work as hard as I do because I feel like I can add to that,” she says. “But one of the advantages of having grown up in public is that I knew what I was signing up for. I do know the negatives of that kind of life.”

When asked about the prospect of marriage or an engagement she said:

“I’m not looking to get married now,” she says. “I have a lot on my plate. I would love to have children but I am certainly in no rush.” Fair enough, but are there diamonds—as in engagement rings—in her future? “Yes,” Ivanka says, “I’m sure there are diamonds.”

She obviously has a very different upbringing than the average person what with a privileged childhood and education, but when you hear and see her speak, she has maturity greatly beyond her years.  I don’t think 26 year old.  To put it into perspective:  Paris Hilton is the same age as her (give or take a few months).

Oh, and if you’re interested, the jewellery she is wearing in the picture is from her collection.  The necklace:  $145,000.  The Bracelet:  $195,000.

Christmas is coming

Jodie Marsh attended the UK Film Premiere of Daylight Robbery.  Maybe she is in costume for a robbery, I really don’t know.  What I do know is she shouldn’t be wearing this outfit. I can’t imagine anyone looking good in this outfit regardless of their body.

This 30 year old woman has a beautiful face, but this outfit does not do her any justice.  She reached fame appearing in the Essex Wives in the U.K.

What do you think?  Hit or miss?  Or is that a redundant question?

The ladies are looking lovely in Venice in celebration of the 65th Annual Film Festival.  Top of the list is model Marisa Jara in her gorgeous red dress.  That color is so flattering on her and she has those full lips that Gerard Butler loves.  Grrrrrrr.    Just kidding folks.  Sort of.

Claudia Schiffer looks nice in her grey metallic colored dress, and Isabella Orsini is beautiful, but her dress almost looks like it’s made of Leather, Pleather or Rubber.  I can’t tell.  Maybe it’s me.  What do you think?  Either way the woman has phenomenal bone structure, no?

You have probably already noticed a few site tweaks.  I’m always looking for ways to improve the site, but most importantly, to improve your experience with my site.

I just want to touch upon these changes briefly:

Categories

The Category listing was growing to ginormous proportions, so it is now on a drop down menu.  Just click on it and scroll to your favorite celebrity.  Click on that celebrity and it will bring you to all articles written on them.  Either that or you can use the search button at the top left-hand corner of the site.

Pictures

When you are viewing a post that has a photo gallery (i.e., more than one picture), once you click on the first in the series of pictures, you will have a “next image” and “previous image” button (above the picture) to navigate more easily between pictures.

Emailing

At the bottom of each post, you will notice an envelope and the ability to email the post to people you think may be interested.  You can email up to five people at a time if you wish.

ASPCA Link

Yesterday I did a post about the Link at the bottom of the screen.  By clicking on it, you are taken to the ASPCA site where you can click on a purple button that will provide .60 bowls of food to animals in shelters.  This is accomplished by the sponsers of the ASPCA

Feeds

You can subscribe via Feedburner (RSS) to advise you of when the site has been updated with new stories.
