That was short and sweet.  Chris Kattan (who was great in SNL) married his girlfriend of 3 years, Sunshine Tutt on June 28 and his rep confirms they have separated:

“Separated for the moment. No plans for divorce at this time”

The two were engaged in 2006.

Back in 2005, Kattan had this to say about Sunshine on his blog:

“She is so kind, sweet and very beautiful. She’s also very funny which always is a great thing. She’s also very much like me,”  “She makes me very happy,” he went on. “It feels real and honest and I have more of a continuous smile than I have ever had before.”

I don’t mean to be judgmental but I’m always mystified that a couple who have been together for a while, marry and then split very shortly thereafter.  I have to wonder if they felt obligated to get married, or if that was the expectation on either part or their families’ part and then when the reality sets in they panic and would rather end the marriage sooner (which is better of course).

I don’t think I’m liking this look on her.  Lauren Conrad is seen leaving her house to go to a party in Santa Monica.  Earlier she reportedly spent 7 hours getting hair extensions.   How do these women that get hair extensions style their hair?  I would imagine the part where their hair and the extensions are attached gets damaged.  How do you put a brush through it?

The musical brothers were on hand at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Washtington, D.C. to unveil their wax likeness’.  During the unveiling there was said to be an overwhelming number of fans and press.

For such young guys I can not believe how popular they are.  They seem nice.  Are you a fan?

Did you guys watch the first Night at the Museum?  What did you think?  I thought it was cool.  I don’t think I could be alone in a museum at night.  Not because I think things would come to life, lol, but because it’s just a little too creepy for me.

Here Ben Stiller and Amy Adams shoot some scenes.  She is channeling Amelia Earhart.  The anticipated release date is May 22, 2009.

Uma Thurman graces the cover of September’s In Style magazine and admits that she is open to having more children with future husband, Arki Busson:

I can safely say I don’t know,”  “If it’s meant to happen, it will. I love and adore being a mother.” Thurman says parenting her two children (with ex-husband Ethan Hawke), Maya, 10, and Levon, 6, is “the greatest gift I’ve ever been given.”

“I understand that raising children is universally difficult and that people read an article hoping for something worthwhile in it. The truth is, I am not on some inside track. I have no incredible revelations to share.”

She shares what she finds attractive in a man:

 “Confidence, intelligence and goodness. There’s nothing sexier than that combination.”

Despite cancer only being in one breast, the star tested positive for the breast cancer gene BRCA1 and as a result opted to have both breasts removed:

My decision, after looking at all the treatment plans that were possibilities for me, the only one that seemed the most logical and the one that was going to work for me was to have a bilateral mastectomy,” said Applegate. “So basically I had a prophylactic double mastectomies.”

Explaining her rationale in taking that dramatic step, she said, “I didn’t want to go back to the doctors every four months for testing and squishing and everything. I just wanted to kind of be rid of this whole thing for me. This was the choice that I made, and it was a tough one.”

The surgery was three weeks ago and the Samantha Who star has not had chemotherapy or radiation.

The actress plans to have reconstructive surgery over the next eight months:

I’m gonna have cute boobs till I’m 90,” she quipped, as Roberts pointed out how Applegate’s sense of humor has helped the actress endure the ordeal.

On how she’s coping she says:

“Sometimes I cry. Sometimes I scream, and I get really angry and I get really into wallowing in self-pity sometimes, and I think it’s all part of healing.”

Although the article states she didn’t have chemotherapy or radiation it does not state whether she will or not.  I didn’t watch the show so I don’t know if she mentioned it on there or not.  I get the impression the answer is no.

Do you watch Lipstick Jungle?  I don’t mind the show, I’ve watched it a couple of times.  Here Brooke Shields and her co-star film a segment where they attend their son’s soccer game.  The filming took place at Chelsea Piers in NYC.
