Singer Hillary Duff’s father has been ordered to spend 10 days in a Texas jail for contempt of court and to also pay $12,500 to his ex-wife for the star’s 21st birthday party and a present, a judge ruled in Houston, Texas Wednesday.

In addition Bob Duff was found to have violated an injunction against selling assets without court approval because of his current divorce battle with ex-wife Susan.

The $12,500 is his half for the birthday party and present. 

Personally, I managed to glide past my 21st birthday without a $25,000 party and present.  But that’s just me.

Okay, he could be a real you-know-what, but is this a bit on the insane side?  The birthday party/gift part I mean.

This is so unbelievable and tragic.  His poor family must be inconsolable.   The 32 year old actor committed suicide following a bout of depression. 

Priestley who plays Dan Goldman on All Saints, checked into Sydney’s Swissotel before jumping from one of the building’s windows yesterday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the show said about the shows’ cast and crew:

“They were devastated so we closed the set immediately as people were trying to come to terms with the tragedy. We’ll endeavour to get back to filming tomorrow.”

Our deepest condolences to his family.  Rest in Peace.

This one was a shocker. This A list country singer who is really outspoken and appears to be morally on the straight and narrow, has some business interests he probably hopes his fans never hear about it. Turns out that he owns about a 30% interest in a group of brothels in Amsterdam as well as in Bangkok. According to person who told me about it, the singer sees nothing wrong with it because they are legal in those countries and he says it is much better than getting free drinks at some club you own. Nice.

I have my thoughts on who this is.  Who do you think it is?

Okay, it’s not a true “girls night out” because Mel B’s husband, Stephen Belafonte was there.  Despite that, you have to admit, there is a lot of talent in that group of girls, right?  Mel B, Toni Braxton and Rihanna were out clubbing together last night. 

I wonder if Mel B is coaching Toni on what to expect on Dancing With The Stars?  I think Toni will be very sexy and hot. With her Las Vegas act, and background, do you think Toni Braxton has a bit of an advantage over the other contestants?  Maybe not Lance Bass, but what about everyone else?

 Now this is the way to start the day, isn’t it?  With Gerard Butler having lunch in SoHo. 

According to the photographer’s write-up he checked out each and every pretty girl that walked by.  We will conveniently IGNORE that fact and just bask in the beauty that is Gerard Butler.  As always, if I see more pics surface, I will update this post.

UPDATE:  First of all, I sincerely apologize for not updating you sooner.  This has been a technically challenging and frustrating day.  The place I get my pictures from doesn`t even have these pics (in this post) anymore.  Any other pictures (of any other celeb) is impossible to download.  I`m hoping tomorrow will be a better day, and I will check for more “Gerry“
