Jeremy Piven is NOT a Diva

Despite the fact that his hosting duties for Fashion Rocks have been replaced by Denis Leary amid rumors of his unreasonable demands, the actor claims he is not a diva.

According to a source for PageSix Piven demanded a separate backstage green room and insisted on rewriting the script at the last minute.

The source says, “(Piven) was a nightmare. And it wasn’t even funny. (This year will see) a more trustworthy and mature host.”

Jeremy Piven’s spokesperson countered with:

“Not true. He had his own room, just like everyone else, and came in a week early to work on the script as expected.”

This years’ Fashion Rocks will air September 9 and include performances by Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Beyonce Knowles.

Victoria Beckham Slapped Duran Duran’s Simon LeBon

That’s what Simon LeBon got when he detailed a sexual dream he had had about Victoria Beckham the night before.  Apparently he used a very disgusting term in so doing so she slapped him.

I would have paid to see that.

LeBon’s bandmate Andy Taylor recalls:

“As we walked in, Geri Halliwell came rushing over to say hello. Hot on her heels was Victoria Beckham. Geri was very bubbly and I wanted to talk to her, but a stern-faced Posh pulled her away.

“It turned out that the last time they met, Simon had told Posh about a very vivid dream he’d had about her the night before. I presume that, at first, Posh was quite flattered – until Simon added that the dream had actually involved him peeking up her skirt while she was wearing no underwear.

“Victoria was horrified, especially as Simon used a very ungentlemanly word to describe a certain part of her anatomy, and she ended up giving him a good slap.”

She might be small, but I’m sure if she got angry enough she would have a lot of power behind it, lol.

Speaking of dreams, I had one of myself and Gerard Butler last night.  And I will leave it at that, LOL.  If my dream ever came true, I would be D-I-V-O-R-C-E-D.  That’s all I’ll say.  ;)

Josh Hartnett’s Play Debut Delayed

Josh Hartnett’s stage debut in the adaptation of Rain Man is delayed because the play’s Director Terry Johnson insists the play is not quite ready.

A spokesperson confirms:

“It is a new play so everyone wants it to be perfect. Terry wants to get to grips with everything before we open.”

The play was to have opened today at the Apollo Theatre in London but has been pushed back a week to debut on September 8/08.

Anti-Scientologists To Protest Katie Holmes’ Broadway Debut

Katie Holmes sure is getting a lot of attention for this broadway play, isn’t she?  She is photographed daily going to and from rehearsals and now when she debuts in My Three Sons on Broadway in October, the Anonymous anti religion group will be there picketing the theatre.

A spokesperson for the group:

“We aren’t looking to shut it (All My Sons) down, we don’t have the power to do that, we just want to prove a point.
“We want to draw attention to Scientology, and hopefully get Katie out of it before it’s too late.”

The Anonymous group is known for the faceless masks worn by members, and recently picketed the Scientology Centre in New York.

I wonder if Katie knew this is what her life would be like when she hooked up with Tom Cruise?  It isn’t just the Scientology angle to it, but the relentless hounding by the press.  But she certainly seems like a woman in love, doesn’t she?
