Usher made quite an entrance at the Columbus Circle in NYC last night as part of the NFL Kickoff celebration.  Natasha Bedingfield (and Keith Urban as I posted earlier) also performed.

Guy Ritchie has banned Madonna from driving sports cars as he considers her driving to be “appalling”.

He suspects that for his 40th Birthday she will get him a new fast car to which he responds:

“If she buys a fast car, she will not be a driver in it. No way will Madonna drive a fast car! She is an appalling driver.”

 Despite last year saying he would never return to the VMA`s again, Kanye West is set to close this year`s ceremony.

As posted earlier, Britney Spears will open the show (but not perform), and Christina Aguilera is set to perform a special rendition of Genie in a Bottle to mark the show`s 25th Anniversary (according to the source) as well as a new single Keeps Getting Better (according to yesterday`s press conference).

Also confirmed to perform are T.I. with Rihanna, Kid Rock, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry (I Kissed a Girl) who will perform Madonna`s Like a Virgin, and Lil Wayne is also set to perform.

The show airs this Sunday at 9 p.m.
