Despite being too injured to be on Project Runway, Jennifer Lopez will compete in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon this weekend.  According to her rep:

“She had a slight injury,” ”She will definitely be doing the triathlon. She does not want to let down her charity and all the people who have supported her.”

The charity to benefit from her Triathalon is Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  We wish her luck. 

There was a lot of talk about her not wanting to be part of Project Runway because she regretted her decision, but if she is doing the triathalon this weekend, it makes sense that she needs to rest up.  Do you agree or do you think the reason runs deeper?

As she was rushing home from her Dancing With The Stars practice with Mark Ballas, Kim Kardashian was pulled over and booked for speeding in a school zone.  The incident occurred in Beverley Hills on Wednesday.  She was also cited for driving with tinted windows.

I guess her girlish charms didn’t impress the cop.

CA-CHING.  The House’s Hugh Laurie is set to make $400,000 which would make him one of the highest paid TV actors.  The new deal with Universal Media Studios has his salary set at more than $9 Million a year. 

The medical drama returns for its 5 season this year and his deal will also entitle him to producer credits and extend his contract to 2012.

The show gets about 16.7 million viewers per episode. 

Wow, that is amazing money.   Good for him.  I personally have never watched the show.  Do you?

The ‘Man’ Gerard Butler gave up booze in his mid-20′s because it made him crazy:

Wow…what a story.  It’s great he gave up booze if it had that effect on him.  So many people don’t and carry on down a self-destructive path.
