Gerard Butler Speaks Japanese

Who knew????  In the second video (below) to promote P.S. I Love You, Gerard speaks a bit of Japanese to the people interviewing him.  Um, did you think the way he kisses & hugs the girl, it’s, “familiar”.  Don’t want to start rumours but could he be gushing anymore? lol. I’m just saying…..maybe it’s just his boyish charm ;)

In the top video it is a little difficult to focus on what he is saying because the translator is a bit louder.

Viggo Mortensen & Ed Harris @ Deauville Film Festival

Okay, so it’s the same guy, doing the same film promo and so it’s a different festival venue, but it’s Viggo Mortensen.  Who can tire of looking at him?  And Ed Harris isn`t too shabby either.

Hey, I’m even willing to overlook the fact that when he was here in Toronto (@ TIFF) , and got all political on our asses, and someone pointed out he wasn’t in the U.S.A. that he simply responded “my apologies”.  The man speaks 6 different languages (not including the language of LOVE dahlings), so he can’t be expected to remember everything.

And no, I have no idea what he is doing with that flag.  Perhaps making another political statement.  Let`s hope he knows what country he is in this time.  Tee hee.

The backdrop in Deauville reminds me of having my high school picture taken.  That’s a flashback I would prefer not to have.

Gerard Butler Autographed Picture Contest – Last Week To Enter

This is the last week to enter the contest and I’ve listened to your concerns and if you are not comfortable with filling out the ‘contact‘ form (top right hand corner of the site), you can leave a comment on this post.  BUT, and I can not stress this enough, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ADDRESS within this comment.  Again, you need to leave a legitimate email address as I will see that and that is my only way to communicate with you.  Also, I can not ship to P.O. boxes.

Conversely you can email me at:  ineedmyfix.com@hotmail.com

Just to let you all know, when you fill out the ‘contact‘ form, all it does is send that information to my email address.  No one else sees this information but me.  It is NOT collected for any purpose other than this contest.  I do not sell your information or share it with anyone.

You have to understand that I’m trying to build a site here, and to do that I need loyal visitors who trust me, so why would I jeopardize that relationship by sharing your information?  I WOULDN’T.

I hope this clears up any concerns anybody has.  Feel free to contact me with any questions or other concerns you may have.  Good luck to you all and thank you for your viewership!!!

_________________________________________________

The prize includes one 8 x 10 Black and White photo of the MAN himself, Gerard Butler, autographed by the MAN himself Gerard Butler (the exact item appearing in this post).  I will also include one of the tickets from attending the Toronto International Film Festival’s screening of RockNRolla for reference.

Here is how the contest will work:

Select the “contact” button (at the top right hand corner of the site – turquoise button) and complete the form with the required fields.

In the “your message” box please advise me as to how you want your name to appear when I post the winner.  Obviously some people will not want their complete name posted for the world to see.  Also include where you live.

Keep in mind two things:

1.        The email address in the required field has to be a legitimate email address as obviously, I will need it to notify you before I post that you are the winner, and I will need to firm up the shipping information.

2.       If you are the winner, please be advised that I need to ship to a street address. The reason it has to be an actual address is because the courier company will not deliver to a P.O. Box.  I’m sending it via courier for tracking purposes (this is precious cargo after all).

Note:  I will not share the winner’s personal information with anyone.  It will be kept strictly confidential.  The only place it will be made visible is on the courier package to ship to you.

I will ship this to anywhere in the world so the contest is open to everyone.

One entry per person, per day, per email address.

The contest will be open from today until Midnight September 20, 2008, EST.  After which, one lucky person’s name will be randomly selected and notified via email.   The winner’s name will be posted on the website Sunday, September 21, 2008, EST.  Please note you are only the winner if I have notified you via email (keep in mind there could be several “Sue M.’s” in Ohio, for example).

As always, thank you for your viewership it is always greatly appreciated.  :)

By entering into this contest, you agree not to sell or reissue this picture into any other contest(s) and that you hold harmless ineedmyfix.com from any liability.

Does Someone Steal Your Lunch At Work???

They wouldn’t if it looked like that, would they?  To combat that problem NYC based designer, Sherwood Forleehas, has come up with the ultimate “anti-theft baggie“.

Seriously, who will steal your lunch then?  I suppose once you get over the fact it looks ‘moldy’ it’s a great idea.  Actually pretty creative if you ask me.

Would you purchase these?

Britney Spears Donates Painting to Charity

Britney Spears and her family have donated this picture to the Los Angeles-based Promises Foundation, which helps provide behavioural health services to women on low incomes and their children.

The painting, by artist, Daniel Maltzman, is being auctioned off here on eBay with a starting bid of $10,000.  The Spears’ family came up with the idea to auction off the picture, and the painting comes with a letter of authenticity from Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears.
