The host of this year’s MTV VMA’s, Russell Brand has split  with his girlfriend, Teresa Palmer, whom he met on the set of Bedtime Stories. 

The comedian has battled sex addiction and vowed to try and stay with one woman, but admitted after the VMA’s:

“I really wanted to go mental after the awards and f**k everyone – but it is difficult when your girlfriend’s in the bed.”

Having split with Palmer earlier this week he’s told Britain’s Daily Mirror:

“I’m single. There are so many beautiful women around. One day you will not be young and beautiful.”

Well at least he’s honest about it.  How many guys tell a girl they are faithful and monogamous when in fact they aren’t?
