The stars of CBS’ comedies came out to celebrate the kick off of the new season which begins on Monday.

I LOVE this time of year with the new shows premiering.  Don’t get me wrong summer is great but TV watching is dull.

I love the comedies that CBS has:  Big Bang Theory (excellent show), How I Met Your Mother (excellent show and they must have Britney Spears back on A LOT), Two and a Half Men (funny show) and the New Adventures of Old Christine (fabulous show).

And now they are adding some new shows to the mix that air next week:

Worst Week – Starring Kyle Bornheimer, Erinn Hayes, Nancy Lenehan and Kurtwood Smith (Red from That 70′s show). 

Next week’s pilot is described as:  Sam and Mel are thrilled that they are having a baby, but it all goes down hill from there.  Premires Monday at 9 et.

Gary Unmarried – This show stars Jay Mohr, Paula Marshall (I love her…she’s my girl crush),  Jaime King, Ryan Malgarini, Ed Begley Jr., Ed Madrigal, and Kathryn Newton. 

The show’s description:  Gary Barnes, a recently single painting contractor, and his controlling ex-wife, Allison, who face post-divorce mayhem after 15 years of marriage as they each embark on new relationships. He’s the fun parent and she’s the strict one.  Together, they share custody of their two children – Louise, a politically correct and environmentally conscious 11-year-old, and Tom, their socially awkward 14-year-old son who is nervous around girls.
