The Bachlorette’s Deanna Pappas & Jesse Csincsak Wedding Update

With only 7 months to go (and the time will fly), The Bachlorette’s Deanna Pappas & Jesse Csincsak have done very little in the way of preparing for the big day on May 9, 2009. Says Deanna:

“We’ve gone from about 400 people, and we’re breaking it down,” “I think we want to enjoy ourselves and our day versus having to talk to a bunch of people all day long. So, we’re dwindling it down.”

The difficulties of the planning process:

“I don’t know how people plan a wedding,” Pappas, 26, said. “I know what color I want my dresses to be, and bridesmaids’ dresses. He wants a cheesecake. And that’s about as far as we’ve gotten.”

The girl needs a wedding planner, um, hello? Says Csincsak:

“Our relationship obviously is our main focus, and then as well as the wedding on top of that,” he told PEOPLE. “It’s not this huge thing everyday. We’re both so busy all the time. We don’t have time right now to plan a wedding, and we’re planning a wedding, which is crazy.”

Despite paring the wedding down, there will still be room for their celebrity friends:

“I’m friends with a lot of the guys from the same season I was on, Jason being one of them,” said Csincsak, “[Chris] Harrison is a great guy. Trista and Ryan [Sutter] have been super-influential to us. We’re psyched to have all of them there.”

You’d think given that it will be televised and they are who they are that they could get a little help with the planning of the wedding?

The Skinny On Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham is furious over claims that she takes diet pills to stay slim and is suing a magazine over it. The magazine also stated that her sister, Louise, was transporting the tablets from the UK to her home in Los Angeles.

She tells the Sun:

“It’s such an irresponsible thing for someone to say. Lots of young girls do look up to me, and I just think it’s ludicrous that they can completely make something like that up.

“You have to take these things really seriously. There are young girls out there who will think it’s cool to take slimming tablets. Things like that are dangerous and we were furious with it.”

I think it’s great that she has taken this stance for the sake of young girls everywhere. This, of course, in stark contrast to Eva Longoria & Felicity Huffman referring to Eva as “fat”. Grrrr.

Called Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow’s new website will feature essays from the Oscar winner, and health advice. She says:

“I love to travel, to cook, to eat, to take care of my body and mind, to work hard. I love being a mother who has to overcome my bad qualities to be a good mother. I love being in spaces that are clean and nice.”

Her life lessons include:

“Cook a meal for someone you love. Pause before reacting. Clean out your space. Read something beautiful. Treat yourself to something. Go to a city you’ve never been to. Learn something new. Don’t be lazy. Workout and stick with it.”

Dolly Parton Sleeps In Makeup

Okay that is so bad for the eyelashes. And skin. She sleeps, not only with all her makeup on, but also with her wig by her bedside in case of a hotel evacuation.

She might be on to something. I never thought of it in those terms. I would scare small children without makeup. Says Dolly:

“I sleep in my make-up… I never know, if I’m in a high-rise building, if the building is gonna catch on fire or if I’m in an earthquake, and I just can’t imagine, like, having to get out just looking awful. “I take my make-up off the next morning and put on new make-up.
“I don’t wanna get out in the street… I don’t wanna get arrested for indecent exposure: ‘Oh my God, did you see Dolly? She was like hammered snot!’”

Rene Zellweger Talks About Cancer Scare

Rene Zellweger admits to a cancer scare that threatened to end her career just on the heels of the Jerry Maguire success.

She admits to having found two small lumps in her right breast during a self examination in 1996 and decided to get them checked out.

She recalls:

“I thought, ‘Oh, I know what you do now. You find out what that is. So I went and found out.” I was like, ‘Let’s just have it over with. Get in there, stab away, get your little crunchy bit or whatever you’re looking for, put it in the mail and we’ll call it a day.’ “Then I had a weird couple of days waiting for the phone call.”

The actress lost her grandmother to cancer in 1969 and this experience made her much more aware:

“I pay attention, I do go get my check-ups.”

Miley Cyrus @ Universal Studios

Miley Cyrus, the guy that is way too old for her and should probably be jailed or something drastic, but that’s just my opinion as I am neither a lawyer or police officer, but if that were my daughter I’d kick his ass so large, but by saying that I am not admitting to being THAT old that I can have a child of 15. Oh wait, I am that old. But BARELY, okay? Never mind ”boyfriend” and family spend the day hanging out at Unviersal Studios over the weekend.

I’m not sure what I dislike more: her “peace” sign in EVERY PICTURE. Or when she sticks her tongue out IN EVERY PICTURE. Okay OMG she has done BOTH in one picture.

Hmmmm….how does one choose?? Oh wait. I just chose. NEITHER. Please Miley for the love of all things good, don’t stick your tongue out in pictures. It’s just nasty. The peace sign, somewhat tolerable (but barely time after time after time after time after time….you get the point??).
