Are Avril Lavigne & Derek Whibley Splitting Up?

The National Enquirer is reporting that Avril Lavigne and her husband Deryck Whibley are on the verge of splitting up. If the National Enquirer is reporting it you know it must be true 
According to the source the trouble began when Avril began her world tour and that the couple:
“have been growing apart for months”, adding, “Deryck isn’t motivated in his own career, so he’s been drinking and partying.”
The rumours were fuelled when Deryck was seen on October 2 cuddling and holding hands with a woman who wasn’t Lavigne. The couple have been married since 2006.
