Despite being offered $1.85 Million (same as Rod Stewart’s fee for singing) to pose nude for Playboy, Spice Girl, former Dancing With the Stars celeb and lingerie model, Melanie Brown has turned down the offer.  She simply says:  “No, I’m not going to do it.”

But don’t assume that she is a prude at all:

“There is (an exhibitionist side to me) – in my bedroom, late at night for hours on end!”

Lucky Stephen Belafonte!!  Don’t you think most women have that side to them?

Sporty Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm is set to marry her boyfriend of six years, Thomas Starr.  The pop star is currently pregnant with his child reportedly due around March, 2009.  The couple are said to be exchanging vows shortly thereafter.   The couple were reportedly engaged last month.

She is the last of the Spice Girls to have a child.  Posh (Victoria Beckham) has 3, Scary (Melanie Brown) has 2, Baby (Emma Bunton) has 1 and Ginger (Geri Halliwell) has 1.

I’m sure you have heard by now (I ended up taking the day off), that Lisa Marie Presley and her husband Michael Lockwood are the proud parents of twin baby girls born on Tuesday, October 7.

The girls were delivered via c-section and weighed  5 lbs., 15 oz. and 5 lbs., 2 oz.  These are the first children she has had with Lockwood, and has 2 children from her previous marriage to Dannyu Keough, Riley, 19, a model, and Benjamin, 15.

During her pregnancy a London newspaper published unflattering pictures of her saying she had issues with food and LIsa Marie responded with a law suit.  They later apologized and she blogged: ”I accept their attempt at redemption.”  

According to her rep, Cindy Guagenti:   ”The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home,”

Rod Stewart will be performing at Prince Charles’ 60th Birthday Party and has agreed to waive his standard fee of $1.85 Million!!

A close friend of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, Stewart wanted to sing for free as a special gift for the party which will occur on November 15 one day before the Prince’s actual birthday.

A spokesman for Prince Charles:

“The main musical entertainment at the party will be provided by Rod Stewart, who is an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust.  “He is giving his performance as a birthday present to the Prince.”

Now that is some birthday gift, no?

This time it’s a wild Mustang Horse.  Sheryl Crow saved the horse from extermination and was horrified to learn that this is becoming common practice.  She encourages horse lovers to do the same:

“There’s legislation going on right now about exterminating these great wild mustangs… (They’re) truly one of the great representatives of our native culture here in America.

“Wild mustangs are really true to the heritage of this country; they help us to remember who we were.. (and) the government is trying to have them run off cliffs and things.”
