Was John Lennon A Misogynist??
Philip Norman’s book: John Lennon: The Life is said to be explosive detailing aspects of John Lennon that only those closest to him knew. The music legend was prone to unprovoked acts of cruelty, jealous rage and perverse sexual fantasies
It talks about his reaction to first wife Cynthia when she returned from vacation to find him with Yoko Ono. According to the author:
“John showed no sign of guilt or even surprise, merely looking round with a casual, ‘Oh . . . hi,’ “
It goes on to describe how when Yoko first started dating John, he made her write down in a list all the men she had slept with so that he could scrutinize it. He also made her join him in everything he did including the recording studio where lovers were not permitted to be.
His sexual appetite was said to be voracious and even included a story about him getting it on with a woman at a party while Yoko and others were next door hearing everything.
He could go for years without seeing his son Julian (with ex-wife Cynthia) and when he did see him, was at times cruel.
The book is considered so damning that even Yoko Ono (who contributed significantly) considers the book too mean.
