The couple have confirmed that they have, in fact, been separated for months:

“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months,” the statement says. “The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”

David just recently finished up his stint in rehab for sexual addiction.

The couple had been married since 1997.

Denis Leary has come out blaming “inattentive mothers” for autism!!!!!  I don’t know anything about autism, but I know enough not to make a dumb-ass comment like that.

In his new book Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid, he says autism is a “joke”:

“There is a huge boom in autism right now because inattentive mothers and competitive dads want an explanation for why their dumb-ass kids can’t compete academically, so they throw money into the happy laps of shrinks . . . to get back diagnoses that help explain away the deficiencies of their junior morons. I don’t give a [bleep] what these crackerjack whack jobs tell you – yer kid is NOT autistic. He’s just stupid. Or lazy. Or both.”

The Autism Society of America says:

“For Mr. Leary to suggest that families or doctors conspire to falsely diagnose autism is ridiculous . . . [His] remarks reflect the same misconceptions of autism being caused by bad or unemotional parenting that were held over 50 years ago.”

I can not wait to hear what Jenny McCarthy has to say!!!  Good luck Denis Leary.

Pink is another one of those celebrities who have been held under close scrutiny (weight-wise) by the press.  She tells Cosmopolitan U.K.:

“I’m the same as anybody else. I have days when I don’t think I look so great, especially when I have all eyes on me. 

“Not so long ago, there was a paparazzi picture of me walking my dogs with the headline, ‘A chubby Pink walking her dogs.’ You’d never go up to somebody in the street and tell them they’re fat, so how can people get away with being so hurtful in print?

However, she is now able to laugh off:

“I had to laugh about it. There are more important things in life and I’ve learnt to be happy with my shape. For me working out is the best anti-depressant in the world.”

The tabloids are going crazy with this story.  Word is that an announcement that Madonna and Guy Ritchie are divorcing is “imminent” and in fact will be this week.

The story has resurfaced after Madonna was seen with A-Rod this past week at the Kabbalah centre in New York.

Originally it was thought that they would announce the split after her tour in November, but Sun’s showbiz editor Gordon Smart told Sky News:

“Madonna and Guy have been spending months trying to make the marriage work,” ”I think they have reached the point now where there’s no way they can repair the damage that’s been done.

“I think the last few weeks in particular, they have had so many arguments it’s just come to the stage where they have decided to finish with the pretence.”

If these rumours are true, it is expected the divorce will be done in a private manner unlike Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills.
