Hollywood fashion critic, Mr. Blackwell (real name Richard Sylvan Selzer), famed for his annual Worst Dressed List has died at the age of 86.  His publicist Harlan Boll has confirmed Mr. Blackwell died on Sunday from complications due to an intestinal infection.

He began his fashion career in the 50′s styling people like First Lady Nancy Regan.  In the 60′s he began his celeb dreaded Worst Dressed List and when on to a career in TV and Journalism when his fashion line folded in the 80′s.

In 2007 his list inluded Victoria Beckham, Amy Winehouse, Mary Kate Olsen, Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Eva Green, Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan Alison Arngrim (Little House on The Prairie).

He is survived by longtime partner Robert Spencer.
