Black Eyed Peas’ singer, Fergie (real name Stacey Ferguson) is piling on the pounds, gladly, for her new role in the movie musical Nine in which she plays a prostitute named Saraghina.  The film is being rehearsed in Britain:

“I actually love (British food). I was actually told to gain weight for the film so I’ve been eating everything – anything and everything. That’s why I am covering up except for my legs because they never gain weight and that’s the only part that never changes but everything else is covered.”

The movie musical will stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson and Penelope Cruz.

I don’t think I could ever purposely gain weight for any job, unless of course they promised a chef and trainer for 6 months thereafter.
