Were you a fan of Men in Trees?  I LOVED that show.  I still can’t believe it is off the air.   Anne Heche and James Tupper starred in the show and ended up together after their respective marriages split up (according to both of them).  Here they are shopping with her son, Homer, from her marriage to Coley Laffoon

Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson and brother, Jason Hudson were found murdered in Darnell’s home in Chicago’s South Side on Friday night.

Police have taken Jennifer’s brother-in-law, William Balfour, 27 into custody.  William is married to Jennifer’s sister, Julia.

Jennifer’s 7 year old nephew, Julian is still missing.  He is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was wearing a brown polo shirt with stripes and khaki pants when last seen.

To say this is tragic would be an understatement.  I can not imagine what Jennifer must be going through at this time.  To lose both a mother, and brother at the hands of another family member and to have her nephew missing is a lot for anyone to deal with.

Kim Kardashian celebrated her birthday at the LAX Nightclub in the Luxor Hotel in Vegas.  she spent her actual birthday at the hospital while Reggie had surgery.  He bounces back quick, no?  She was joined by her man, Reggie Bush and sisters Khloe and Kourtney along with friends, Robin Anton and Caroline D’Amore.

Madonna is back in New York with the kids going to Kabbalah.  I seriously don’t know how this woman keeps up with the schedule she has.  She’s like super human or not totally human, maybe part machine.  I just don’t know.

Word has it that Guy Ritchie has not seen the kids in a month and will either fly to the U.S. to see them (he is currently filming Sherlock Holmes in London) or a group of nannies will fly the kids to him.  The kids have been with Madonna on her Sticky & Sweet tour.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror:

“It’s the longest he’s been apart from the kids and he misses them like mad. He feels incredibly isolated and desperately wants to be surrounded by his family again. He’s not bothered about seeing Madonna.”

How tragic is this news?  I can’t believe my eyes when reading the story.  TMZ is reporting that the two bodies found at the house owned by Jennifer Hudson’s mother, were in fact, Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother.  How very tragic.

The seven year old that they are looking for is believed to be Jennifer’s nephew.

Police are looking for William Balfour (left) who is on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder.

The body of a man and woman have been found dead at the house that belongs to Jennifer Hudson’s mother.  One of them is believed to be a relative of Jennifer Hudson’s.  The police are looking for a 7 year old boy and his father.

Although he has refused to confirm if one of the victims is Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Chicago police spokesman Officer John Mirabelli did say:

“We are handling a double-homicide,” ”Those [two] victims sustained fatal gunshot wounds.” We are searching for a young boy from that address who is missing. He may be in the company of his father,” says Mirabelli. “We are seeking to interview the adult male.”

The man, who is 27 years old, may be driving either a white Chevrolet Suburban (Illinois X584859) or a teal Chrysler Concorde four-door with the left front headlight hanging down (Illinois 332K823.

There has been no comment from Jennifer Hudson.
