George Clooney and his dad Nick Clooney attended the Newseum in Washington for a screening and discussion of George’s 2005 film Good Night and Good Luck (about legendary TV news man Edward R. Murrow).

George’s father, Nick is using the film to educate students at American University in Washington.

Can you say VA VOOM????  Wow…this woman is hot, no?  Dancing With The Stars’ disco ball champion, Brooke Burke does a photo spread for Razor Magazine.  Yeah…that’s hot, and I am so not into women.  I think I just made my husband’s day

Geri Halliwell got engaged at Christmas time to her italian millionaire boyfriend Fabrizio Politi.  The two started dating in December when they met at a Florence nightclub.  At  Christmas Fabrizio surprised her with a $314,000 (approximately) ring!!!  Wow, can you imagine the kind of gifts he will buy her on anniversaries and birthdays?

In November, Geri split from boyfriend dancer Ivan ‘Flipz’ Velez.  A date has not been set as the two are just enjoying their engagement for the time being.  I think I would be staring at the ring like 24/7. 

Do you think this is too soon from her breakup with Ivan?

Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Paul McCartney, Radiohead, T.I., Justin Timberlake and Kanye West have been added to the lineup of performers at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards that will take place live on February 8, 2009.

They join previously announced performers:  Kenny Chesney, Coldplay, Jennifer Hudson, Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, and Carrie Underwood.

For record of the year, I think it will be either Leona Lewis (Bleeding Love) or Coldplay (Via La Vida).

Please tell me I am actually dreaming and that the Donny Osmond ‘slip’ isn’t some horrid nightmare real.

Appearing on the Bonnie Hunt show Donny said about following in his sister’s footsteps:

“Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I’ll say I am seriously considering doing it, let’s put it that way.”  “I guess I just let the cat out of the bag.”   “I can’t let my sister upstage me. Besides, who do you think taught her how to dance?”

He then went on to say:

“That’s why I’m doing it, baby,” Donny teased. “It is going to be very difficult because I am going to be doing [the Osmonds' Las Vegas show] on top of doing Dancing with the Stars.”

I have to say that when Marie Osmond appeared on Dancing With The Stars I was so turned off of her.  Talk about being in denial andbeing unobjective.  She actually thought she was as good as the other dancers and if you didn’t agree with her she took it personally.  She should have.  She sucked.  I walked away that season thinking that girl is so self-absorbed, infantile and delusional.  Uggggggghhhhh.

She couldn’t be more obvious about her jealousy over Julianne Hough.  And don’t get me started on her need to laugh at EVERYTHING .  It was so nauseating.  There is also something unsettling about this brother/sister dynamic.  I think it’s great they are so close, as families should be, but they are TOO close.  Not trying to imply anything sinister here, it’s almost like unless you are one of THEM you are an outsider.  I so feel sorry for Donny’s wife.  She must feel like an outsider in her own marriage.

I need to boycott this decision.  It’s just not right.
