Donny Osmond To Be On Dancing With The Stars
Please tell me I am actually dreaming and that the Donny Osmond ‘slip’ isn’t some horrid nightmare real.
Appearing on the Bonnie Hunt show Donny said about following in his sister’s footsteps:
“Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I’ll say I am seriously considering doing it, let’s put it that way.” “I guess I just let the cat out of the bag.” “I can’t let my sister upstage me. Besides, who do you think taught her how to dance?”
He then went on to say:
“That’s why I’m doing it, baby,” Donny teased. “It is going to be very difficult because I am going to be doing [the Osmonds' Las Vegas show] on top of doing Dancing with the Stars.”
I have to say that when Marie Osmond appeared on Dancing With The Stars I was so turned off of her. Talk about being in denial andbeing unobjective. She actually thought she was as good as the other dancers and if you didn’t agree with her she took it personally. She should have. She sucked. I walked away that season thinking that girl is so self-absorbed, infantile and delusional. Uggggggghhhhh.
She couldn’t be more obvious about her jealousy over Julianne Hough. And don’t get me started on her need to laugh at EVERYTHING . It was so nauseating. There is also something unsettling about this brother/sister dynamic. I think it’s great they are so close, as families should be, but they are TOO close. Not trying to imply anything sinister here, it’s almost like unless you are one of THEM you are an outsider. I so feel sorry for Donny’s wife. She must feel like an outsider in her own marriage.
I need to boycott this decision. It’s just not right.

I think it will be a great season of Dancing with The Stars if Donny joins the cast. The Osmond family is extremely talented and they are genuinely nice people. Obviously, the author of this article must truly despise good people as her criticisms of Marie are just petty and rude. I think she (the author) is jealous of Marie. If Marie was such a bad dancer how did she manage to win third place. How perverted of you to imply anything inappropriate because the siblings have a close relationship, that is an insult to anyone o that has a tight bond with their siblings!!! I hope Donny wins season nine to shut you up!!!!!!
You know us so well. How scary is that? The writers at INMF are seethingly jealous of the Osmond Family. We have weekly meetings discussing our hatred and jealousy for the family.
With regards to DWTS we were particularly jealous over that ‘Doll’ routine that Marie did. What serious ballroom dancer wouldn’t be?
In fact, to get even, we are considering launching our very own doll collection. Afterall success is the best revenge, no?

Tara, I don’t think the writer was implying anything ‘inappropriate’ or ‘perverted’ in the relationship between Donny and Marie. I certainly didn’t take it that way – more like they were so close (in a brother/sister way) that they can’t be close to anyone else. How many ‘close’ relationships can one person really have without closing others out? Sounds like you were the one that made that leap.
As for how she managed to win third place – somebody had to!
