TMZ is reporting that Rihanna suffered

‘contusions on both sides of the singer’s face — there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers’

These injuries were a result of Chris Brown’s fists, and not any type of weapon or instrument.

As well TMZ is reporting that Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but that police took photos.  Someone in the area heard Rihanna’s screams and called 911.   I’ve heard stories that she has been released from hospital so perhaps she went afterwards.

The police told TMZ that the photos alone are “devastating proof of abuse.”

I will never understand how a human being does this to another, let alone someone you profess to love.  Tell me your thoughts on this.
