This is so very, very sad.  Jade Goody, who rose to fame in the reality show Big Brother, has been given only months to live. 

It is now a matter of when not if, as the cancer has spread to her bowel, liver and groin from when it was first diagosed as cervical cancer in August when a golf-ball sized tumour was found. 

After learning of the news, Jade’s boyfriend ‘Jack Tweed, 21,  proposed to her – on the eve of Valentine’s Day – at her hospital bedside, and the couple now plan to marry as soon as possible, said Goody’s spokesman and close friend Max Clifford.’

Since learning her cancer is terminal Jade has been drafting up her will and is said to, naturally, be devastated by the news according to her rep:

‘She was informed yesterday that tragically, she’s terminally ill. She was obviously devastated.’

‘She was aware that the cancer had spread but they said unfortunately it was a question now of when rather than if and when she pressed them as to how long she’d got, they said “months”.’

She is getting her affairs in order for her two sons Bobby Jack, five, and Freddie, four.  The 27-year old is said to be planning a traditional spectacular wedding that she is hoping to sell the rights to thereby making enough money to secure the future for her boys.

Her reality series ‘Jade’s Progress’ will air her reaction to her prognosis next week.
