Because Kimora Lee Simmons Doesn’t Have Enough Money

Kimora Lee Simmons and the multi-page divorce agreement with ex husband Russell Simmons obligates him to pay $40,000 a month in child support. That’s $20,000 per child (they have two girls) until the girls reach 19 years of age. Kimora will retain sole legal custody of 9-year-old Ming and 6-year-old Aoki.
Russell will have monitored supervision: “When the children are in [Simmons's] custody, they shall be accompanied at all times by a nanny and security person.’ The visitation arrangements were outlined in a meticulous 7 page agreement. He has access eighth week during their school year and on various holidays.
In addition to the payments, ‘Simmons also agreed to provide a new car, worth at least $60,000, for the children’s use, until they turn 16. The car will be replaced every three years.’
Russell is co-founder of Def-Jam records and CEO of Rush Communications Inc. Kimora is a model, author, and President and Creative Director for Phat Fashions and has a reality show Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. Both Kimora and Russell are filthy rich in their own right, so I guess it’s all relative, isn’t it?
Do you think he is paying too much or too little.
