Kanye West and his girlfriend Amber Rose get some lunch together and then shop a little. 

I love photos like these and looking in the background at all the people running by their side trying to get a shot.  He looks like the Pied Piper in some of these shots with all the people trailing him.

I really like Kanye.  I like his music, I like that he’s complicated but I didn’t like that he came to the defense of Chris Brown before a taping of VHI’s ‘Storyteller’s’ in which he said “Can’t we give Chris a break?”  “I know I make mistakes in life.”   VHI cut that part out of the tape.

We all make mistakes to be sure.  I don’t think ‘allegedly’ beating the crap out of your girlfriend should be one of them.  Assaulting someone is still a choice, and one the majority of people don’t make.  I’m surprised given how close he was to his mother that he would take that stance.  If he had a daughter and some guy ‘allegedly’ did that to her would he take that stance?   Something tells me he wouldn’t.
