In its opening weekend, the superhero film Watchmen took in $55 Million!! The comic book adaptation about a team of retired, flawed superheroes has set the record for 2009 thus far.   According to the BBC:

Fans of the comic book series by writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons waited two decades for the film to come to the big-screen.

The anticipation was complicated last year when Warner Bros and 20th Century Fox fought over who owned rights to the movie.

The studios eventually settled in January, keeping the 6 March opening intact.

Dancing With The Stars is finally here!!!!  And even before the show has begun, the injuries have started and as you know, Jewel and Nancy O’Dell have had to drop out.  That is truly a shame as I think those two women would have been great to watch.  As announced last week Holly Madison is replacing Jewel and now The Bachelor’s Melissa Rycroft will be replacing Nancy O’Dell.

This means very little, if any, rehearsing time for these ladies.  Makes you wonder how the show is going to adjust for this sudden circumstance.  We will find out tonight now won’t we?  Both Holly and Melissa are scheduled to perform tonight so maybe they will be judged the same as those who have had much more rehearsal time. 

Will you be watching?  You must watch.  You will love.

Matt Damon took time from shooting his latest movie ‘The Human Factor’ to take part in the 109 km Cape Argus Cycle for charity in Cape Town South Africa.  He is pictured with Francois Pienaar in some of the pictures.
