‘Duplicity’ star Julia Roberts and ‘Knowing star Nicholas Cage are seen leaving their hotel in Manhatten. Don’t get your panties in a knot…I highly doubt anything is going on here.
You rarely see Julia out and when she is she is usually pissed at the pappers. She doesn’t look to be simmering here although she has a bit of the crazy eyes going on. Good times.
I realize it’s Friday and I am probably a little stunned today but I don’t understand why they have a Top 12 party for the Top 13 American Idol Contestants. Am I missing something here? Does one of them not quite make it out of the party alive? I don’t understand. Your top 13 American Idol contestants are:
Michael Sarver
Anoop Desai
Allison Iraheta
Matt Giraud
Scott MacIntyre
Jorge Nunez
Adam Lambert
Alexis Grace
Kris Allen
Lil Rounds
Jasmine Murray
Danny Gokey
Megan Joy
Do you have a favourite? Who do you think will win, or is it too early to tell?
Seems that Lucy Liu has added Artist to her resume. The New York Post is reporting under the name Yu Ling: ‘ she has painted an acrylic a large acrylic portrait on linen of two people kissing. The work is being sold by the Eli Klein Fine Art Gallery at the Scope art fair here for a whopping $28,000. So far, no takers, but we’re sure it won’t last long.’
Somehow that doesn’t surprise me. I think she is one of those women that just has it all going on. Am I right?
A very humble Chris Brown appeared in court yesterday looking all spiffy in his suit. Brown’s lawyers requested to move the arraignment to April 6th and Brown did not enter a plea. TMZ’s take on postponing the arraignment is:
It is unclear why they wanted to postpone the case — possibly to conduct further investigations or possibly to strike a plea deal. We just don’t know…
Based on our information, it seems Brown wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident — which has not been seen anywhere publicly — is unbelievable.
And according to People.com the question of Rihanna testifying against Chris Brown could decide his fate:
“The DAs are facing an uphill battle now if Rihanna isn’t cooperating,” says Steve Sitkoff, a Los Angeles defense lawyer and former prosecutor. “At this point, her cooperation can make or break the case. But the DAs may not need her if Brown is willing to strike a plea deal.”
If she refuses to testify she won’t be jailed:
At most, she could be punished with fines or other sanctions, but a judge may be reluctant to do so.
“If she refuses to testify, that could potentially jeopardize the DA’s case,” says Loyola Law School professor Stan Goldman. “Her statements to police about Brown having beaten her can only be used against him if she agrees to testify.”
