Last night Elton John and his celebrity friends celebrated his birthday at the Hamburger Hamlet in Los Angeles.  Why do I have visions of Ronald McDonald making balloon animals??  Sir Elton John turned 62 on March 25!  He certainly doesn’t look it does he?  I actually find that hard to believe, but who am I to argue with imdb.com?

Nicolas Cage isn’t someone you see a lot of on a regular basis, is he?  Here he is in New York on the set of  Sorcerer’s Apprentice.  When asked recently if he’d like to play a comic book character particularly in the sequence to The Dark Knight, Nicholas said:

“I would love to play a super villain. I think that would be a whole lot of fun,” said Cage, welcoming an invite to take on the Batman. “Yeah. If they call and invite me, I’d do it. Certainly.”

What do you think of his new look for this film?  I kind of like it.

Jamie Spears is going after Britney’s biggest fansite, www.breatheheavy.comto shut down or else.   The owner of the site, Jordan Miller is saying that because he didn’t comply with the requests and demands of the conservatorship, they are now coming after him:

As a result, I received a legal notice from Jamie Spears’ lawyers pressuring me to close BreatheHeavy.com by 3:00 p.m. PST today, March 27, 2009, or face an injunction, claiming they will pursue legal action by Jamie Spears, who, as a conservator, is legally allowed to act as Britney and sue using her money and lawyers.

“Britney doesn’t control her affairs,” said Brad Rose, the lawyer representing Britney in this case in a telephone conversation.

“You are an uber fan who’s gone a little too far.”

They are stating that the fansite is infringing on copyright laws and using Britney’s trademarked name and image.  Jordan feels the real issue is not copyright infringement at all:

The real issue, in my opinion, is hidden behind these Copyright Infringement claims, rather management, particularly her father / conservator, Jamie Spears, who makes $18,000 a month off his daughter, is desperately trying to hide the truth about Britney’s imprisonment, and shut anyone up who disagrees with their conniving and selfish exploitation of an innocent mother of 2 pushed back into the lime-light just several months after a hospitalization.

Because of the Google and TicketMaster ads that are placed around the site, they claim Jordan is gaining financially from her image without consent, so he has had to take them down.  He is appealing to the fans of his site to help with the costs of running the site and has added a paypal option to the site.

Jordan is claiming that in a telephone conversation Jamie said:  “I will destroy your ass,”.

Dancing With The Stars’ Melissa Rycroft and her dancing partner/teacher Tony Dovolani sign autographs as they leave the studio after rehearsals and Tony shows off his eagle necklace.   I think Melissa is really happy and I think she should be even happier she dodged a bullet when she wasn’t chosen by man-baby Jason on The Bachelor.  I’m just saying…

Clearing a few things up
Just checking in to say hello and clear a few things up. I’ve been getting a lot of calls and emails regarding these subjects I’m about to discuss.

The Bar Fight 

First of all, last night at a club my boyfriend and I were assaulted for no reason at all. The DJ (I don’t even know his name cause he sucks so bad) was playing the worst music ever! I like certain techno music, but this was not even danceable and was frankly giving me a migraine. I asked one of my friends who runs the hotel if he could change the music and he said ” I’ll lead you up to the DJ booth tell him and he’ll play whatever you want.” So he walked Doug and I over there. I asked the DJ if he could please play Daft Punk or Bob Sinclair and he rudely snapped at me and was like ‘I only play this kind of music.”

I think he was jealous cause Bob Sinclair is a far better DJ then this guy by about a million times. He was so unbelievably rude and all because I asked to play one good song. Then out of nowhere his bodyguard (don’t ask me why he has a bodyguard, like he really needs one. Ha) pushed me really hard, that’s when my boyfriend, like my knight in shining armor, stepped in and told the guy to keep his hands off of me.

Then all hell broke loose, it was like something out of a fight movie, it was so frightening. I had never seen anything like it in my life. Doug was fighting off like 6 guys. But he was of course stronger then them all but one of the idiots punched him in the face and busted open his lip. There was blood all over, I cried I was so upset and scared. It was ridiculous and for such a stupid reason, I cannot believe people behave this way, like ainmals!

FYI this is not in my nature to be in club brawls, I’ve never been around anything like that. It was totally unprovoked and thank God Doug was there to rescue me. A man should NEVER put his hands on a woman in that manner.

Not Engaged!

Another thing I keep getting are emails from you guys, calls from family, flowers from friends congratulating me on my engagement. They said they read some story the other day saying that when Doug and I went to dinner with my parents the other night that he proposed and I declined.

This never happend, I dont know where they come up with these stories sometimes. All we did was have a lovely dinner at my mom’s favorite restaurant. We had all been together on My BFF Show set all day shooting scenes for this upcoming season. It was histerical and a lot of fun. But I will tell you this, Doug is an amazing guy and I feel very lucky that we found each other.

We’ve been friends the past year now and have became very close. He’s my best friend, we are so much alike, we love to travel and we have the most incredible time together no matter where we are. I’ve never been happier. He truly treats me like his princess and that’s how every girl should always be treated, Never forget that ladies. My parents love him too, so I’m really happy about that. I love his parents as well, they are such a lovely family. His mother is stunning, so beautiful, sweet, funny and smart. We all had such an amazing time in Maui together, so I’m glad Doug’s getting to know my family as well.

I flew into New York this morning, I’m about to go to the Eye Wear Convention. I’m launching my new sunglass line. I’m so excited! I love wearing sunglasses and now I have my very own line! Loves it! So, I have to run, but hope everyones doing wonderfully and love you all.

Ha ha ha…I can imagine how upset that headline made people.  Trust me, I would never hate on Robert Pattinson like that.  I’m just trying to get him to notice me.  According to OK Magazine he only reads the negative stuff:

“I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever’s saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names,” he jokes in an interview with MovieFone. “I write it all down in my black book.”

I am more than okay with going into his Black Book *cough*.  So if I’ve grabbed his attention I have a question:  do you like older women?  Oh wait, he thinks Tina Fey is sexy .  I can be funny.  Really I can.

And what does Robert think about those stinky rumours:

“I haven’t even been on the set yet!”

I suppose the bad hygiene rumour is a sign you’ve made it because he is told Zac Efron suffered the same tragic fate:

“Really? He looks like he smells really good,” he laughs. “I also do shower.”
