I could totally get lost in Josh Lucas’ eyes.  Yum-o.  Josh attended the Vanity Fair party for the  2009 Tribeca Film Festival that was held at the State Supreme Courthouse.  Also attending were Kanye West, Spike Lee, Debra Messing (looking gorgeous I might add), Robert DeNiro and his wife Grace Hightower and U2′s Bono and his wife Ali Hewson.

A man with his own history of assaulting women (he was accused of beating former wife Robin Givens and convicted of raping another woman) Mike Tyson shares with US Magazine how he can understand Chris Brown:

“It’s none of my business, but you know what I say about that? I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids,”

What does he think Chris Brown’s problem is:

“My personal opinion about that is, he’s just a baby,” ”He’s just a little baby that don’t know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, ‘I know how to handle my emotions’; we all think we do” “But the fact [is],” Tyson continues, “you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don’t know how to handle those feelings”

Tyson blames the ‘pimp mentality’:

“Now you’re a fly guy and a cool guy [you think] … you have to be hard like that,”

He shares his views on violence against women:

“You can’t abuse them,” he tells MTV. “It’s really sick what you [can] do. She has a space in your heart and you believe you care about her more than anybody in the world”.

“Do I think it’s right to beat up a woman? No — hell no,” he adds. “Have I hit a woman before? Hell yeah. Was I wrong? Hell yeah. I’m a product of that environment. Do I regret ever doing that? Hell yeah. Would I do it again? Never.”

The thirty year old star of the Ghost Whisperer, Jennifer Love Hewitt is pretty happy these days thanks to friend turned lover Jamie Kennedy.  She tells Ellen DeGeneres:

“We’ve been friends for a long time,”  “I’ve heard about it – about being friends with somebody and it turns into something else and I’ve never really done that before and it’s been great. He’s hilarious and when you’re with somebody funny, they’re always funny and it’s just great.”

Despite how happy she is now, it still wasn’t easy with her break up from forner fiance 33 year old Ross McCall:

“Look, break-ups are awful … They really suck on lots of levels, but what I think is great about life is that the universe always brings you something really beautiful and great afterward and that’s kind of where I am now.”

That really beautiful and great ‘afterward’ is:

“A new sense of self but there is also a guy … Jamie Kennedy,”

But the best part of all of it, is that Jamie accepts and loves her for exactly who she is:

“There are people in your life who are just supportive and who just look at you and they see who you are,” says Hewitt. “And [Kennedy] really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. I think that’s for me when I sort of went, ‘Oh, wow.’ “
