I’m all for freedom of expression and all that good stuff, and I suppose I shouldn’t at all be surprised by Lady GaGa’s recent lipstick application fetish, but it creeps me out a bit to be perfectly honest.  It’s just weird.  Is it me?

In other news she is having a romance with a guy named ‘Speedy’.  Call me crazy (and yes, I’ve been called much worse) but I don’t think the average guy wants the nickname ‘Speedy’.  Get my drift?  Yeah, you do.  According to a source:

“They were just friends for a while, but recently things got serious… They are totally crazy about each other.”

Here Lady GaGa is with her lips, umbrella (no it wasn’t raining) but sans her teacup that she has been toting all over the place while she was visiting the house of her friend Mika.

While the majority of us mere mortals would rest after falling from a freaking horse, Madonna is ready to resume her workout routine!   Madonna was treated at Southampton Hospital on New York’s Long Island on Saturday after the accident at the home of her friend Steven Klein.

Although released within hours of being admitted, her rep said at the time that Madonna would undergo:

“further tests and continues to remain under observation by doctors”.

But Madonna’s lunatic trainer Tracey Anderson told US Magazine on Monday:

“She’s going to be fine. She fell on her butt. She’s fine. “We’re going to train tomorrow. We have our set training. She’s like a professional athlete. She can’t mess around with her training. I mean, she has to be able to perform in front of 70,000 people who are sucking the life out of her, and she’s singing and dancing. There are no shortcuts when you’re training in that way.”

What the hell?

Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. ham it up at the Los Angeles premiere of their movie The Soloist.  The trailers look great for this movie.  They are joined by their friends, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Anna Friel, Catherine Keener (she’s in the film) and Halle Berry.

Recently Criss Angel was performing in Las Vegas when he announced Perez Hilton was in the house:

“I have to recognise someone special here in the house. Perez Hilton, please stand up. We have the world’s biggest douchebag a**hole in the house!”

Criss’ team had alerted him during the show to the fact Perez was Twittering insults about the show as it was going on and resulted in Criss’ introduction and insult to Perez.  Perez responded with ‘thanks for the free tickets’.

Cirque De Soleil (um, not Criss Angel) has issued an apology:

“Cirque du Soleil does not condone disrespectful behaviour towards any audience member at any time. Cirque management will address such behaviour privately with any of its artists to ensure it will not happen again.   “Along with our partner, MGM MIRAGE, Cirque du Soleil wishes to extend an apology to any audience member that may have been offended by Criss Angel’s inappropriate and disrespectful remarks at Friday night’s performance of Believe.”

Interesting how they didn’t specifically mention Perez.  I’m just saying.

A huge fan favourite, Snoop Dogg was on hand to reveal his waxed likeness at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.  According to a spokeswoman:

“He was on high demand at our museums. When we asked guests who they wanted to see next, Snoop was at the top of the list”

There are also rumours that Snoop Dogg is in talks to host this year’s MTV MOBO awards which will take place in Scotland.  A source says:

“It would be a huge coup to get Snoop. He’s such a crowd pleaser and was a great host of the MTV Awards in Munich.” 

I still think looking at yourself as a wax figure must be kind of creepy, no?

Miss Lily Allen played to a packed house at Roseland Ballroom in New York City.  Lilly recently admitted on her Twitter page that she has a crush on John Mayer (who knew??):

“I think I’m in love with John Mayer, I watched a DVD of one of his concerts last night, on the bus – his guitar playing is mesmerising, sexy.”

She’s also been hiding tickets around U.S. cities for her fans to find as she provides clues as to their whereabouts.  One such clue:

“In millennium square under a chair, near to the bean the tickets are there.”
