Just on the heels of her very public break up with Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan and her sister Ali go shopping at Roseark jewellery shop.  Jewellery shopping would make anyone feel better, at least for a little bit, right?

Despite talk of Samantha’s mother and sister speaking to an officer about a restraining order, Samantha has nothing to do with it and in fact doesn’t view Lindsay as a threat.  Her lawyer told People:

“Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one”

Another source close to Sam claims:

“Sam does not want a restraining order against Lindsay Lohan. Sam had nothing to do with the restraining order against Lindsay that the police are talking about.” “Sam and Lindsay are broken up, but Sam does not feel she’s in any danger whatsoever. She thinks the whole thing is absurd. “

Last year Julianne Hough said she wasn’t coming back to Dancing With The Stars, but I guess she couldn’t resist being coupled up with her real-life sweetheart, Chuck Wicks.

Winner CMA’s Top New Artist award this past weekend is incentive enough to concentrate on her music career rather than juggle the two:

“I wasn’t planning to come back this season because I wanted to focus on my music. But I went back and it’s been so much fun to dance with my good friend who happens to be my boyfriend.”

She will be missed on DWTS.

Believe it or not, I just saw ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ for the first time this past weekend.  I was very pleased that Jason Segel’s junk got a fair amount of screen time.  I don’t mind nudity in film, it’s just that we rarely, if ever, see men nude on the silver screen, as it is always the female form that is revealed.  I’m all for equality.

But I digress.  I liked Russell Brand in this movie.  I think I would be afraid to be near Russell Brand, not because he is scary or anything but he is sex on two legs (two legs clad in very tight satiny pants, with flip-flops) basically and I think every woman is his type, so we all stand a chance.  This is a man who appreciates the beauty in all women.

Here, Russell Brand is outside his home in London, England and either looks happy to see you, or that’s his natural state.  Yikes.

J.J. Abrams ‘Star Trek’ movie premiered at the Sydney Opera House in Australia.  Eric Bana is hot, no?  The movie also stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Karl Urban.

You know, I wish I could say something witty in Star Trek language, but I’ve got nothing.  Zip.  Nada.  I don’t watch those types of shows (I know, I know) and I really don’t get the phasers on stun and all that stuff.  I don’t even know if I said that right.  But I like pretty pictures. 

What I do know is that Star Trek is getting majorly awesome reviews.  It is being described as ‘brilliant’.  That word I know.
