Michelle Pfeiffer stars in a new movie, ‘Cheri’, in which she is an older woman involved in a love affair with a younger man.  According to imdb.com:

A romantic drama set in 1920s Paris, where the son of a courtesan retreats into a fantasy world after being forced to end his relationship with the older woman who educated him in the ways of love.

She talks about how turning 50 was not that big a deal, but an opportunity to reflect and be grateful for life’s blessings.  Yeah.  I’m hoping that will be my take on it too.  Considering I don’t look like Michelle Pfeiffer I’m thinking my experience will be different.

The film will be released in the U.S. on June 26, 2009 with a limited release.
