Gerard Butler Charged With Assault

This is not the kind of news I like reporting. Gerard Butler has been charged with a misdemeanor criminal battery for that alleged run in with a photographer who was chasing him.

Back in October,when Gerard Butler was promoting RockNRolla, a papperazzi guy allegedly followed him after he exited an L.A. nightclub in the wee hours of the morning. Butler confronted the guy and allegedly punched him. Originally people came forward and said the papper was following Gerard around for hours and trying to antagonize him. At the time Gerard’s rep said the papper almost killed a pedestrian.

TMZ is reporting that the L.A. City Attorney filed the charges yesterday. Gerard will be arraigned on June 10 and if convicted could face up to 6 months in jail. His lawyer, Blair Berk declined comment.

On Location: Jennifer Aniston & Jason Bateman – ‘The Baster’

Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and an adorable little girl film scenes for their movie The Baster in New York. Jennifer looks gorgeous, and Justin looks hot as always.

I included all the pics in the set although some are fairly similar.

Bette Midler shared some dating advice for Jennifer Aniston with People:

“She needs an exciting guy, like a race-car driver,” ”I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who’s going to give her a run for her money.” “She should find somebody who is really hot, who’s not in show business. Somebody with a lot of money, and she should live the large life and forget about these a–holes. She’s a great girl. She’s got everything going for her.”

She goes on to talk about what she’s thought of Jennifer’s previous lovers:

“I actually thought Vince Vaughn was great,” she said. “He’s hilarious, he’s good-looking. I mean, I thought he had it all.” But adds Midler, “I don’t really know them, but I like them, I like to watch them, I enjoy them.”

As for John Mayer?

“Well, he’s a good-looking guy,” Midler says of the musician, whose on-and-off relationship with Aniston ended earlier this year. “I’ve got to say, I watched it for awhile, but I have no opinion. I just read a few of the blogs.”

I’m always surprised people have a difficult time accepting a girl as being single whereas someone like George Clooney is high-fived.

Ryan O’Neal Wants to Marry Farrah Fawcett

As Farrah Fawcett fights cancer, Ryan O’Neal wants to seal their 30 year union by getting married:

“I’d do that, I would do that (marry Fawcett). She’s still a little bit hesitant. I’m working though, I’m working.

“You know she’s been married, I’ve been married. She’s said, ‘We have a good thing’. But I said, ‘You said that 30 years ago, shouldn’t there be a sea change?’ Maybe there is, you never know.”

That is so beautiful isn’t it? Ryan attended the world premiere screening of ‘Farrah’s Story’ in Beverly Hills last night where the documentary’s producer and friend Alana Stewart also attended. The documentary airs tomorrow.
