As Rachel Bilson combs through what is left in her house after it was ransacked while she was visiting fiance Hayden Christensen in Canada, the value of loss just keeps climbing.   Her rep Marcel Pariseau:

“It’s in the hundreds of thousands. It was her Chanel collection, all her designer clothing, shoes and bags. She had a huge vintage shoe collection… all her jewellery, some of it given to her by her grandmother.

“She’s been out of town, but it was discovered on the 8th of this month. A police report was filed on that day by her mom, but, because she was out of town, she needs to put the list together to submit to police and her insurance.

“She keeps going through it. She keeps finding more stuff that’s missing.”

According to her spokesperson there is no sign of forced entry into the home.   To have someone go through your personal belongings like that is such a violation.  The family heirlooms are the worst because they are irreplaceable.  Anything else can be covered by insurance.
