John Wilcockson’s book ‘Lance’ chronicles among other things Lance Armstrong’s relationship with Sheryl Crow.  The two were engaged in 2005 but the constant ticking of Sheryl Crow’s biological clock is what did the two in:

“She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids [Luke, Grace and Bella],” Armstrong, 37, reveals. “Yet we’re up against her biological clock — that pressure is what cracked it.”

The two even tried counselling to help them with the difference:

“but really there’s no way to counsel that situation, because if somebody wants a child — man, that’s the greatest gift you can give to a woman — so who are you to stand there and say I don’t want one. So we were at different points in our lives. We were not compatible on that issue.”

Lance admits the timing was ‘off’:

“I felt like I wasn’t ready . . . I would have been in the future, but not then.”

Sheryl Crow has gone on to adopt her son Wyatt (in 2007) and Lance is now expecting a baby with Anna Hansen (due in June), which as everyone knows was conceived naturally despite Lance battling testicular cancer, which normally renders men sterile.

I am always intrigued by people who, when they are together, deem themselves to be perfect for one another but split up for various reasons:  not ready for marriage or kids, but then go ahead and a couple of years later do that anyways with someone else.  I guess that means the other person wasn’t ‘the one’.

The book will be out in July.

NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and Jonathan Knight appeared on The Today Show today and sang among other songs, Dirty Dancing. 

Fans had been lining up since SUNDAY to see them on The Today Show.  And what did the NKOTB do?  They arrived at the studios at 6 a.m. to hand out free concert tickets to those that were lined up since Sunday.  Now that’s awesome!  They also promise the show to be, ahem, full service.  I’m not entirely sure what they mean, but it’s enough to make this old bitch want to get some tickets to their show.

Damn, don’t I have that same problem.  People around me all the time go ‘what is that stench’ and I have to explain it’s my uber sexiness coming through my pores and then it gets very awkward.  Sometimes I feel like I’m living a parallel life  with Megan Fox except I’m not with a douchebag.  Isn’t life funny sometimes?

Megan Fox tells Esquire Magazine that being a sex symbol is oh so natural:

“If you know how to take control of [being a sex symbol], then it can be powerful,”  “But I have no idea how to handle it yet, how to deal with it.”

And screw you Scarlett Johansson, Megan Fox will not use big words:

“I don’t want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson – who I have nothing against,” she says, “but I don’t want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single SAT word I’ve every learned to prove, like, ‘Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.’ I don’t want to have to do that. I resent having to prove that I’m not a retard – but I do. And part of it is my own fault.”

Ahh.  Such as the life of a confident sexual tigress (don’t I know how that feels.  It’s exhausting at times):

“I’m just really confident sexually, and I think that sort of oozes out of my pores,” she adds. “It’s just there. It’s something I don’t have to turn on.”

She doesn’t talk about the douchebag, but does admit she’s:

“at a really vulnerable point in my life,” “I don’t know how I feel or think about anything right now, and I feel like I’m under a microscope,” she says of the scrutiny on her relationship. “Normally I love playing the game, but that’s when I’m in an assertive place. I’m not there right now.”

Yeah, and don’t think Brian Austin Green doesn’t know that, girl.

American Idol’s Adam Lambert is on the latest Entertainment Weekly cover with the caption that he is American Idol’s most exciting contestant in years (and not because he may be gay).   Entertainment Weekly says:

“Though Adam Lambert is widely assumed to be gay, the most he would say to the magazine about the public scrutiny is ‘I know who I am. I’m an honest guy, and I’m just going to keep singing.’”

Kiefer Sutherland turned himself into the 1st precinct police station in New York and was charged with misdemeanor assault for his head butt to fashion designer Jack McCollough according to TMZ.
