Anna Friel has been with her baby’s daddy (Danny Thewlis) since 2001 (they have a 4 year old daughter, Gracie together) and since he’s been married before it’s not a priority to him:

One of the issues I have had to be sensitive about is marriage – David’s been married before and, to some extent, I think his experience has put him off.   “It’s tough, because I have very clear romantic fantasies. Romance and marriage matter to me.”   “We do talk about it and he says getting married won’t make any difference to us, but he also says he’s not closed to the idea. I just have to be patient.”

If by patient you mean waiting your life away, yes be patient.  Think Shannon Tweed and Gene Simmons.  Ever watch their show?  Every show she complains they aren’t married, he tells her he isn’t interested in marriage, she states how marriage is important to her.  Rinse. Repeat.

Let me save you the agony Anna Friel:  move on.  He isn’t going to marry you.  Being ‘patient’ is his way of saying ‘I don’t have the balls to end it with you, plus you still stay and I get my needs met.  Who cares about yours’. 

It’s been since 2001!!!  Eight years, woman!!!  How many more years are you going to allow go by?  You’ll have given him the best years of your life, he still won’t want to marry you, and you’ll be bitter.  Hey, maybe you’ll get a reality show out of it!

Clearly Ryan Reynolds is a boob man as he checks out Sandra Bullock’s girls.  And let’s not forget who he’s married to?

It was nice to see the very handsome (and ageless) Chris Isaak on the show.  I’ve included all of his pics, including the backstage ones with, what I am guessing is, his dog (just another reason to love this man).  I did that for my friend BusyBeeBlogger!!

So it seems the big question of the night at the MTV Movie Awards was whether Eminem was seriously pissed that Sacha Baron Cohen in his ‘Bruno’ character, landed on Eminem’s lap with his crotch in his face. 

One thing we know is that clearly it was planned.  A few seconds before ‘Bruno’ dropped onto Eminmen’s lap the cameras panned to Eminem, so clearly that part was planned.  At first I thought Eminem was actually upset, and now I have to wonder if that is the case.  Did Eminem have enough time to ‘react’ and if he did why didn’t he?  Isn’t it a natural reaction to put one’s hands up so as to ‘defend’ against something coming within your ‘space’?

As well, is Sacha Baron Cohen that brave (or stupid) that he would risk seriously pissing Eminem off and the guys that Eminem travels with?  I can’t imagine he would.  If there is one thing we have learned from Eminem’s videos is that he’s got a great sense of humour, and if there is one thing we’ve learned from his acting, he’s a great actor.

The night belonged to Twilight last night at The MTV Movie Awards with the movie and its actors winning in 5 of the categories:

• Best Movie
• Best Female Performance – Kristen Stewart
• Breakthrough Performance Male – Robert Pattinson
• Best Kiss – Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson
• Best Fight – Robert Pattinson & Cam Gigandet

I can’t help but feel ripped off that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart didn’t kiss up on stage when they accepted their Best Kiss award.  Do you wish they did?

One of my favourite parts for Twilight (besides Kristen Stewart dropping her award) was when Jim Carrey was on stage for Best Comedic Performance Winner and we hear his thoughts and one of them is ‘that good looking kid from Twilight’ and they panned to Robert Pattinson.  I thought it was priceless Robert’s reaction.
