I was so happy to read this!  Dancing With The Stars’ (and of course The Bachelor) Melissa Rycroft got engaged to Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland on June 26.  Apparently the two have dated on and off for two years and rekindled their romance after Jason Mesnick dumped her.

According to People, Tye popped the question at White’s Chapel in Southlake, Texas.  They then had dinner with their parents at Brio Tuscan Grille and spent the evening celebrating with more family and close friends.

What a year this has been for Melissa.  Despite being second runner up on Dancing With The Stars, she ended up landing a gig on Good Morning America and now she is engaged!  I am so happy for this woman.

Her DWTS’ partner Tony Dovolani says of Tye:

“He is a great home-town boy,” ”He will love her endlessly.”
