You read that right.  I can’t make this stuff up.  Is it me or is it kind of strange that a hamburger franchise is branching out into fragrances??  Piers Morgan is the new ‘model’ for Burger King’s first fragrance ‘Flame’ (well at least the name’s appropriate).  And he has a risque poster to go along with it and claims:

I’ll definitely beat David Beckham in the fight for poster space,’ he tells the Daily Star. ‘My poster looks fantastic.  

‘I beat Becks in a recent poll to be the UK’s Hottest Hunk. I came first – he was tenth I believe. I’ve beaten him once and I’ll beat him again.

‘I’m also hearing rumours Daniel Craig wants to quit being James Bond. In which case, this seems a perfect option for me. I beat him in the Hot Hunk poll as well, so why not?’

Ladies (and gentleman) happy freakin Monday morning.  Robert Pattinson is on the set of his latest film ‘Remember Me’ (like we will ever forget him) currently filming in Manhatten.  Sweet stalking distance, I have me a plane to catch.

I’m hoping that he is only smoking for the film and doesn’t smoke in real life, but once I stalk and capture meet him, I will take away his cigarettes help him quit.

Anybody watch Knots Landing?  Then you’ll certainly remember Donna Mills who played Abby Ewing.  I always remember how perfect her eye makeup was on that show.  Apparently she applied it herself as opposed to having the makeup artists apply it.

Over the weekend Donna and her daughter Chloe attended Life Out Loud 4 in Hollywood.  The event benefitted gay youth mentoring group Lifeworks.

And are you sitting?  Donna turns 69 on December 11.  I would be happy to look like that at 50 never mind 69!

Taylor Swift and LeAnn Rimes signed autographs on the last day of the CMA Music Festival – The Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience.  She recently talked to Elle Magazine about how she would love to sing a duet with John Mayer:

“He Twittered the other day that he wrote a song, and he wants to make it a duet with me. I freaked out when I heard [it],” “[It's] because I’ve been such a big fan of John for such a long time.” She adds, “I’m really excited about just the idea that he would even mention me in his Twitter!”

I love that celebrities are so into Twitter.  From the pictures of her signing autographs, Taylor Swift looks like such a warm, and lovely girl.

Perhaps that’s a slight exaggeration.   John Mayer was at the club My House over the weekend when his friend Rob Dyrdek fell ill.  According to WENN.com:

The singer was photographed carrying the skateboarder-turned-reality TV star out of the MyHouse club in L.A. on Saturday night (13Jun09) and bundling him into a waiting car.  He later updated his Twitter.com page to inform followers he had taken his friend to the city’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to have his stomach pumped.  Mayer wrote,

“In triage at Cedars with Rob Dyrdek. When the contents of his stomach hit that silicon bag and we all saw it, we just broke into applause.”

Prior to that he was Twittering from the bathroom:

“The ultimate live tweet: peeing in a club bathroom, but not without facing the mirror and mugging as if to say ‘hey, you’re doing great.’ “

He also talked about the plans for his new restaurant and club:

“Bad news, my new bar/restaurant/nightclub didn’t pass building inspection.   Maybe because it’s 6 feet by 3,000 feet.  “We had a lot of interesting things planned, really. No ceiling, just plumbing. Glory holes placed impossibly high. (sic)”

“Child bathroom attendants. Interesting note, the floor would move very slowly on a belt that fed people out the door. One building’s length every 90 minutes.”

Call the press.  Oh wait, it looks like they did.  Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have returned from the Costa Rican jungles filming ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get me Out of  Here’ .  I’m not sure what this means, nor do I much care.  I’m not even sure why I’m posting these pictures.  I think some people somewhere actually care, and in which case these pics are for you.  To everyone else, I’m sorry.  It’s a slow newsday.
