You know how they say a picture tells a thousand stories (or something to that effect)?  Well sometimes pictures tell their own jokes too:  Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan (squatting no less), 7-11 and The Big Gulp. 

What more can I add to that nugget of gold??  Actually I could add more, but I won’t.  Trust me when I say it’s better this way.

Jordana Brewster attended the grand opening of the Upstairs Boutique in West Hollywood last night.  What does a girl have to do to get invited to these things?  I would sell my soul because I know I would get free stuff.  And good quality free stuff, so the deal with the devil just may be worth it.

Attending as well were Sela Ward (LOVE her), Stacy Sherman, Kiely Williams, and Vanna White.  I would sell my mother for Vanna White’s job.  She gets paid really good money to touch letters.  And then she goes to this event and gets free stuff.  Mom, pack your bags.  We’re going on a little ‘trip’.

Brad Pitt arrives at LAX from an Air France flight after premiering ‘Inglorious Basterds’ in Berlin, Germany earlier in the week. 

I’ve included some pictures from the afterparty of that premiere because I forgot to the other day, and also because his butt looks pretty good in some of the pictures.  Enjoy!

It seems controversy keeps following Katherine Heigl and her comments about projects she’s involved with.  The latest being Seth Rogan and Judd Apatow who don’t appreciate her comments about their film ‘Knocked Up’where she says the film painted women as shrews” while making the men look “lovable” (newsflash Katherine, it made the men look frat like).  Seth:

“That film looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way!”   “I’ve got to say it’s not like we’re the only people she said some bad s**t crazy things about. That’s kind of her bag now.”

The movie’s director, Judd Apatow chimes in and talks about her latest film ‘The Ugly Truth’:

“I hear there’s a scene where she’s wearing underwear with a vibrator in it, so I’d have to see if that was uplifting for women.”

Judd is still hurt and confused by her comments (see guys can be sensitive):

“You think at some point I’ll get a call saying, ‘Sorry, I was tired,’ and then the call never comes.” “Seth always says, it doesn’t make any sense because she improvised half her s**t. At the time, on set, she could not have been cooler.”

Do you think this is a case of her not realizing how lucky she’s got it, or are these guys making a mountain out of a molehill?

The always beautiful Penelope Cruz attends the U.K. premiere of ‘Broken Embraces” held at the Somerset House in London, England along with the film’s writer and director Pedro Almodovar.  The actual film’s title is ‘Los abrazos rotos’.

Penelope lost her luggage on the way to the premiere and had to opt for this last minute red Bottega Veneta trouser suit.   Originally the luggage was to be on hold but it disappeared.  Pedro says of the luggage

“I think someone took it. I think it was taken by someone with a fetish!”

Maybe he has the inside track as to the contents of the luggage?    And like a lot of us Penelope doesn’t like the rainy, grey weather:

“I love London… but I have difficulties with the rainy weather.  “I have decided it is not going to rain, I was here for many months this year making a movie and I love London, but I have trouble with grey weather so I said, ‘No, please, not today.’ So hopefully it’s going to stay like this.”
