What some guys will do to avoid buying a girl a birthday gift!  It seems Tony Romo has ended his relationship with Jessica Simpson the night before her 29th birthday.  I suppose there is never a good time to end a relationship, but I’m thinking the night before a birthday is way wrong.

People is reporting that a source has said:

“She is heartbroken,”  “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”

Friday night he showed up at MyHouse with a bunch of male friends (and no birthday girl)and according to an onlooker:

“He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table,” says an onlooker. “Romo was sipping Grey Goose and having a fun time with the boys.”

Jessica was planning a Ken and Barbie themed birthday party, but it didn’t happen.  She Twittered on Saturday:

“Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world I LOVE GETTING OLDER!”

Neither rep has commented on this rumour, but you can be sure of one thing:  the tabloids will have a field day with this.  Jessica’s ex-husband Nick Lachey just ended his relationship with Vanessa Mannillo and now that Jessica is single you can just imagine how they will take this and twist it into some sordid story.
