Oprah Winfrey Being Sued For $1 TRILLION

Yup, $1 Trillion! I don’t even know how many zeros that is. Oprah Winfrey faces a lawsuit by ‘A Tome of Poetry’ author Damon Lloyd Goffe for plagiarizing his works and passing it off as her own in Pieces of my Soul.
The copyright infringement suit was filed at the District of Columbia Court on July 31 and filed against Oprah and her production company Harpo Inc.
The National Enquirer is reporting:
“In April 2008 Oprah confessed to seizing original works of authorship”.
Goffe and his legal team are seeking the huge amount in damages, claiming that as Winfrey sold an alleged 650 million copies of the book online for $20 (£13) a time, he is owed $1.2 trillion.
With it being being the National Enquirer and all, it make’s one wonder whether this story is in fact real. However WENN indicated that a rep for Oprah did not comment when this story went to press.
