This news isn’t going to surprise anyone, and in fact I think we can all agree it was just a matter of ‘when’ this news would be announced.  LeAnn Rimes announced on her website that she and her husband Deane Sheremet were ending their marriage:

“After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage. This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another. Thank you so much for all of your continued love and support – it is deeply appreciated.”

I know there are only 4 pictures, but I also know that Chelsie Hightower and Louie Vito have a good following already.  I saw  Team Chouie on Twitter and I just loved that name for them!!

They are only one year apart in age with him being 21 and her being 20.  I’m just saying….

Love, love, LOVE Whitney Houston!  This new album of hers is a long time in the making and is receiving a lot of mixed reviews.   Here she is serving it up on the Good Morning America concert summer series and she looks like she’s back to being Whitney.  I couldn’t find the video for her performance so it’s just pictures for now.

I think we can expect more to come from her powerhouse voice.  I would agree to have Spencer Pratt’s baby if I could be guaranteed a voice like Whitney Houston’s.  That’s never going to happen in this lifetime besides which, it just does not get dark enough (and he would probably feel the same about me ha ha ha).

Carrie Bradshaw is back!  Sex and The City 2 will be coming to a movie theatre near you with a release date of  May 28, 2010.  I have to say that I’m a little pissed with Sarah Jessica Parker for ending the series in the first place.

I remember at the time reading a quote from her where she said something to the effect that they took the characters as far as they could. 

I don’t think her audience would agree.  And if that is the real reason they ended the series, how could you have material for movies?  Okay a regular series requires more writing than movies, but I still think there is room to have these ladies on regularly.  That series ending was one of the saddest days of my life.

I must preface this post by saying I had nothing to do with this.  I’m in Toronto and was not behind the wheel of the vehicle that hit Rene Zellweger.  I would never stoop that low to get a piece of Bradley Cooper and bump her out of the picture.

According to TMZ:

We’re told the actress is fine and there were no injuries — her car was towed away from the scene.

At least one cop arrived on scene to help out.

It appears one of the headlights from Renée’s car was shattered and one of the cars lost a license plate in the smash.

Sources close to Renée tell us, “This is not her fault. Someone made a U-turn into her.”

UPDATE: Cops tell us the call came in at 11:00 AM PT — no one was cited for the crash and there were no injuries.

Mischa Barton enjoys some lunch with a friend and later shows up at her hotel in Manhattan greeted by a bunch of snappers and she’s not looking to happy to see them.  Her dogs are too cute for words.  I wonder what they think of all the snappers?

Mischa’s new series ‘The Beautiful Life:  TBL’ premieres on the CW channel September 16 9/8c
